You a special case.. So you exempt.
Quote:My sources say this is a done deal.

Syracuse and BC wanted Latavius to play LB and ONLY UCF gave him that chance at RB just like ONLY UCF gave Blake a chance at QB when other schools wanted him as a TE.

<span style="color:rgb(44,44,44);">Latavius has big ties with Doug Marrone and of course Marrone and GOL have ties.

He chose UCF -- because Syracuse, like many other programs that recruited Latavius -- wanted him to play linebacker. SU coaches at the time did not envision him at 6-foot-3 as a viable college football running back, but liked his athleticism enough to offer him a scholarship. After Latavius tore his ACL in 2009, he asked for his release from UCF to come home to play for Syracuse. But SU coaches did not offer him a scholarship then and he returned to UCF. (Doug Marrone was SU's head coach then; he and UCF coach George O'Leary had long been friends and colleagues.)

Latavius initially chose a program that guaranteed he would run the ball. He wanted to be a college running back. I know all of this because my friend wrote a multi-part series about Latavius and his high school recruitment at the time.

In h
igh school, Murray was All-league and All-Central New York selection in three straight seasons. In his sophomore year, he was third-team All-state honoree following a 1,609-yard, 14-touchdown season. He garnered first-team All-state honors as a junior, rushing for 2,030 yards and 30
touchdowns. In his final year, he was named the 2007
Gatorade Football Player of the Year in the state of New York after rushing for 2,194 yards with 28 touchdowns on offense, while also recording 78 tackles, three forced fumbles and two i
nterceptions on defense.
He also was named as the Class D Player of the Year
and First-Team All-State by the NYSSWA.

There are a lot of people on this board like YoBoy and GlockBortles among others that have ZERO sources. They can mock all they want. They are wrong about judging talent.

You got sources now?
Quote:Yeldon would have had 1,000 yards rushing his rookie year running behind guys like Beadles, Joeckel and Wiz if he hadn't of gotten injured. Don't think he's dynamic enough to be a starter but think he can still be an effective running back.

He would have needed around 90 yards the last 2 games to hit 1000 yards. So no, it wasn't a guarantee.
Quote:Coughlin is upgrading every position. That's what winners do.

So who will be the QB, since he is upgrading EVERY position?
Quote:Seattle is trying to move onto Charles/AP because they don't want Lacy

SCJ...Seahawks don't want Lacy

Few days later.....

-Eddie Lacy signs with Seahawks.
Quote: Ivory will be cut.

I said this week's ago. I'm not in the know like you though.

Shut up.

You are definitely not one to criticize someone for being childish.

He missed 4 games that year, missed one early in the year and then missed the last 3 weeks.
