Quote:I jumped the gun on the seconday terrible thread. I changed my mind on watson. Trade down and draft foster, defense is scary good.

Not me Watson looks like real deal.
All those who say never been arrested are A lying. Or B rich kids.

Cause I have lived on all four coast. And it is easy to get arrested for doing nothing.

I guess all them never had a speeding ticket either. Wow those are boring lives.

I think it's Watson or Fournette if we stay at 4. Tom gets his big back he loves or he drafts a QB and either Trades Bortles or pushes them into a great competition and the better player wins. As of "NOW" our offense isn't as good as it was last year with already losing 2 starters to free agency. Albert is a slight upgrade at LT but we haven't gained anything on offense during this off season. Peterson is still available but unrealistic as well as Charles. Why not try to bring in one of those guys and team them with Fournette if we draft him. Probably not going to happen but would love to see Bortles have help. Ivory is just ok in my opinion. If we do draft Fournette we can't expect results like Elliott did last year because that O-line is the best in the NFL
If they take Watson over Solomon Thomas, they should just fire Dave right now.
Hoping for Thomas, Hooker, or Allen. Maybe even Howard.

Hoping it's not Fournette. See no reason to think he will remain healthy for an entire NFL season. Plus he's a terrible blocker and adds absolutely no versatility. No QBs either please.

About 70,000,000 Americans have arrest records out of 320 million so maybe 1/4 or 1/5 people have an arrest record. I guess 80% of us live very boring lives according to you, that or we just aren't hoodrats.

Or maybe it won't be Dave's doing. They didn't bring Tom in just to let Dave make 100% of the calls on who this team drafts. Yes the media says Dave has the final say but I believe Tom has some input.

I dont know where this crap about Fournette being a poor blocker and poor receiver is coming from. I feel like you and others are just looking for a reason to pass on him. I read a lot of scouting reports and what you are saying isn't showing up anywhere. Let me show you some examples here:

CBS Sports: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/playe...-fournette

"Solid receiving option with strong hands to finish catches in traffic -- also has experience tracking the ball downfield on wheel routes. Banger in pass protection, knocking rushers off balance when he launches his heavy shoulder into defenders."

The Draftster: http://thedraftster.com/scouting-report-...nfl-draft/

"He can be a receiving threat, not an option, a threat because he has the ability to catch and if he gets into the open field he will either outrun everyone or punish a tackler in the open field."

Fox Sports: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/leona...ort-010817

"As a receiver, Fournette catches the ball with his hands and turns upfield quickly. Similar to when he takes the handoff, it doesn’t take long for Fournette to accelerate to full speed. Once that occurs, he looks for a defender to punish."

Walter Football (I don't put a ton of stock in this site but whatever): http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport...rnette.php
 • Has returned kicks
 • Nice hands
 • Has receiving ability
 • Willing blocker in blitz pickup with potential to be very good

I'm not saying LF is perfect and even these sites do point to some of his weaknesses. One site said that he isn't a great route runner and doesn't adjust to the ball well if it's not thrown right at him. Another says that he needs to work on his blocking technique but that he gets the job done due to his size and strength.

That's fair enough to me. He isn't the receiver that Dalvin Cook is but that doesn't mean he is worthless in the passing game.

I get it. You don't want Fournette at 4 for whatever reason, but I think you are wishing a little to hard for him to be a one trick pony when he isn't. If you want to knock him for the nagging injuries, I see that, but you're type is trying to make his skillset out to be nothing more than sledghammer like Legarrette Blount and you are missing this big picture.

I've watched the tapes, and, personally I do not see it. In today's NFL, you have running backs putting up WR2 and WR3 receiving numbers. Not only are guys like Johnson, Freeman, Gordon, McCoy, Murray, etc leading the NFL in rushing, they are also putting up huge receiving numbers as well. The versatility this adds to their game can't be understated. I have no reason to believe Fournette can bring this versatility to the NFL. The tape and the stats just don't show it. Can he take a ball off a wide-open screen and take it downfield, sure. But that's all he has done. Almost all his receptions have come off 3rd down screens, drops offs, or an occasional wheel route. You just can't honestly believe he is going to run routes, be able to design passing plays around, or become a receiving threat.

It doesn't mean he's not one hell of a runner. When healthy, the dudes hella productive. He's a punisher. But does he bring versatility in the passing game? I say no way.
Lol... so now RBs also have to produce like WRs to be worthwhile.

Bizarre take.

See ya see with the coloring book. What the Crayola won't tell you. If by no choice of yours.

Due to lack of options, lack of money, job proxemity, etc. .

That if raised in the projects are a marked target by dealers, gangs, police, etc.

Therefore more likely to get pinned for something. Like JB was on that video the second time was caught smoking.

And that does not matter color, nationality, gender, etc.

It is your Poor and in a bad neighborhood. So have to be a criminal.

So yes your stats are wrong. Or ya fortunate to never have to live like that.

And by boring I mean can call who ever and ride over the law. does statistics tell ya have many in corporate get arrested daily? And let go due to job title? Or who they know?

Cause I am very familiar with it. And it is sad. To see all those who mock others yet get slaps on wrist and told Jonny dont be a bad boy and do it again.

But that's off topic.

Only 2 or 3 RB's have been taken as high as R1P4 over the last decade or so. If I'm picking a RB at R1P4 that isn't even a consensus top player at RB, he better be able to catch the ball or contribute in pass protection to justify the pick. RBs are a devalued commodity. Add injury concerns and I can't justify the pick.

It says dead center of that post that color/nationality does not matter. And youre not a person of color if youre white.

The stats are what they are.

The rest of your post is unintelligible gobbledygook gook. I don't even know what you are saying.
And trying to imply everyone who has an arrest record is a hoodrat is ignorant on so many levels
