Quote:I watched ever single Hargreaves game and thats the worst he looked, I think at that point his mind was on the NFL
Even the game Amari Cooper torched UF last year, Cooper only had like 51 yards when lined up against VH3
Gotcha. Good to know.

Trying to recall, but didn't Hargreaves give up a long PI in that game though?
No one hardly throws at Mack Alex <<<<<< for the UF homers
he's only allowed like 14 receptions all year
I'd take him right now at 5. I see a corner who won't be thrown towards once the league finds out about him. Buddy can play. It will be some good players there at 5 but I'm locked in on this guy, M. Jack, and J. Ramsey. That's barring Bosa doesn't have a miracle fall. I'd be cool with any of the 3.
Brett Bielema had really nice things to say about him on the SECN broadcast last night. He said, "We recruited him out of high school. He's a special player. He has it all... athleticism, attitude, leadership, love for the game, everything you look for in a player."
hes really good and as a gators fan I'll say, he might be better than vh3
He's good, but zero interceptions and only 21 tackles? He's a late first or early second.

Considering how diehard you are for Fowler you should be the last person judging prospects on college production. Especially at a position like cornerback where your numbers can be very largely skewed. He is a top 15 pick all day.

With your logic, every scout and professional that projected Fowler as a Top 5 talent shouldn't have jobs then.
its because no one throws at him.

Exactly ^^^ I wonder do these guys get that?
He only has like 14 completions on him all year
Wouldn't mind a trade up into the 20s if he makes it there.
If his hamstring injury isn't too severe, he will no doubt be a top 10 pick. I don't see how he can be faulted for his lack of interceptions when nobody throws at him. His lack of height (under 6') is the only negative I can see. Ideally, the Jags can trade back a few spots and still get him. Shutdown corners do not grow on trees.
Glad to see people jumping on board the Alexander train.
Quote:Don't get me wrong, the guy is a stud when he is on the field. The Jaguars are really in no position to take the risk of a player that is going to be sidelined. Hamstrings are a nagging injury and he has already injured both of them. It was reported that could barely walk on it last night, so I'm thinking he tore the hammy and that's not good. A torn hamstring is no small deal going forward.
He was in all sorts of visible pain. He could hardly walk on it and he could barely stand while they were wrapping his hammy up with ice on the side line. We'll eventually find out how bad it is, but judging from his body language, it looked like a pretty serious hammy injury.
Walterfootball (I know, they're garbage) has him being picked one pick before us in the second round.
I like him enough that if he fell that far, I'd trade up and pick him after I pick Ramsey or VH3.

Agreed. If he fell that far I'd trade up in a heartbeat. Pairing him with Ramsey would instantly fix our backfield.
LCB House
FS Ramsey
SS Sample
RCB Alexander
Nickel Colvin

This would be awesome.

I actually feel the opposite. If he comes here and lines up opposite of House, they'll throw to him more and have moderate success. He doesn't get thrown at now because he's better than the guy next to him. He's good, yes. But I don't think he's that lockdown that teams in the NFL will avoid him.
