Quote:I'm going to lose my over 5.5 wins wager. Not even six wins with this God awful schedule. This team sucks.

Correct me if im wrong, but would you not have needed the jags to win 7 games to win that wager?
I just don't see how Shad can watch this and think Gus is the guy.  The Texans are playing at a whole other level and they're not even good.

Any chance Khan reconsiders?

Oooops, you should have taken the under.

I know it doesn't look good right now. But the Jags offense has been a 2nd half team the past few games. Maybe,,MAYBE they can still get this one.
Quote:There are many players that didn't play well until after leaving the jags. Yes I think coaching plays a big part in player devolpment. Right now, the offensive coaching scheme is working. Why wreck that by bringing in a new coach? Fix the weak areas and focus on what needs to be improved.

Yeah, Bortles looks like he might legitimately die out there today. That coaching scheme is working.

And all encompassing We Suck thread would suffice at this point. How many ways can you point out the obvious? Lol

6 games wins the over at 5.5
2016 slogan: the Jaguars and drinking. Cause they both go hand in hand in the Bradley era!
It doesn't seem like much, and in the greater scheme of things, it doesn't matter, but that last defensive series kind of sums of this team. The odds of the Texans getting 3 points were pretty low at the 12 second mark, until, inexplicably, the team allows a completion to the sideline to barely get into their kicker's range. Anything but a sideline catch, but of course, it happens. Then a weak legged kicker makes a season long FG. All of this after Cyprien demonstrates his atrocious ball skills in what should have been an easy INT.

Pathetic.

6 wins should have won it.

Of course 5 wins loses it.

That's what I'm hoping but I doubt it. He really shouldn't have said anything till the season was over.
Quote:What? It doesn't matter to you??? You started an entire thread about keeping Bradley about a month ago! Jeez dude. At least just admit it, if you are beginning to doubt the fact that maybe Gus isn't a good coach, just admit it.

I'm wrong ALL THE TIME. I have to eat my words constantly around here. It doesn't make you a lesser poster.

Just be honest. For instance... I was wrong about JT80. I thought he was gonna be a total bust. Next thing you know, he began contribuiting. I had to go back and eat crow on that one.

But you have to be honest with yourself...

Oh, just heard JJ Watt on the TV. Drink

I never said Gus was a great coach. I think he is a coach that motivates his players and they play their best for him. Often times, their best is not good enough because their best is not as good as other talent. With that said, I want(ed) Gus to stick around because of the progress that was made this year offensively. Over the last several years our offense has been a dud. Now it's MUCH improved. Why do we blame coaching for bad but not recognize them when things are good?

I still believe that losing Gus would hurt the team and the progress. But, like many, losing is frustrating and if taking a hit to the coaching might propel us to win more games in the future than I'm all for it. A necessary evil if you will. I'm on the fence with it now because the season is over and we still have a mediocre team.

Six wins. Win more than 5 and a half games.
Quote:I think its exactly what we need... why is your opinion more important??

When you pick up some red letters under your avatar, we will take your opinion under consideration! :teehee:
