Quote:Confident in those hopes are we? Having to rely on the Titans and Jags,, geez lol.

It's possible though, I guess.

No I'm not confident at all.

In fact I would be STUNNED if the Colts make it into the playoffs... We certainly don't deserve it.

Injuries are a killer. The league these days, if a team's starting QB goes down, it's basically over.

It's happening more frequently these days.

Luck

Romo

P. Manning

Dalton

Roethlisberger (luckily for Pitt, it was early enough for him to play the last half of the season. He goes down again, Steelers are done)

If Brady, Cam, Palmer, Bortles, Rodgers went down, those t3s would be done too.

Can't lose a starting QB for substantial time in this league. No way.
Sounds like brees is a little banged up. This is all still very interesting.

That is not going to help us clinch the division title because we still need the Titans to win two games.

Facing a backup and not against Brees actually does help the Jags. It is just not the only help they need, but it is help.

All I am saying is we don't control our destiny, so winning in New Orleans is just that - a win over the Saints. Of course playing against Matt Flynn will give us a better chance of winning the game.

If they want to win the division, they gotta win against the saints. Without Brees, the chances are much greater of that happening. Hence the relevancy.
tacks with td Jesus has a pretty good chance of beating the tin horns, don't you all think?

Who is Touchdown Jesus? I thought that was just a Notre Dame thing.

If you mean Clipboard, well, he's a Colt.

Yeah I don't know what I'm talking about. Good catch. I'm referring to the tack backup qb..whitehurst?

Lol.

Clipboard Jesus went to the Colts this season. Mettenberger (sp?) is the tacks backup now that they drafted MM.

I think his name is Mettenberger, can't remember for sure. The LSU guy.

You do this quite often...

Yeah, like the time I said Andrew luck was an average quarter back.

Oh wait...
Mettenburger will be putting some good things on film hopefully. Let's keep in goin, woot woot

Did you misspell his name on purpose? LOL. I know it is MettenbErger.

Update on Mariota: Titans say he is out for the year, but Marcus thinks he still has a chance to play in Week 17. Go figure.

BTW Mettenberger has always been Tennessee's backup. Charlie Whitehurst played because the Titans were down to one healthy quarterback.

Good to know... now the question is this-- can mettenberger beat the tin horns?

Definitely not. Marcus Mariota could not do it.
I'm glad we'll be playing a motivated tin horns team on Sunday.

Which you're still wrong about.
Colts have been better without Luck than with him.

Really carrying that franchise!
