Gratz could only dream of a game like this against one of if not the best WR in the game
Gratz was ranked 109 by a fantasy website that the jaguars blocked..

Gratz has played bad at times and wouldnt play let alone start on most NFL teams, but the Jaguars struggle with lack of talent at DB... and yet McCray still cant play that says a lot...

http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player...esDefended

ESPN has House at #2 (whom is the best DB on the Jaguars I dont think many would argue with that).

Exactly...

House starting on the outside with McCray on the other side and Colvin in the slot.

What's so hard to understand about that?

Sure looked like Defensive holding for a sec there....

You might want to rewatch, if anything it was a push off by Brown. But it wasnt a penalty either way. Good try though

If you kept hitting the arrow you would see the next best Jaguar at pass defending according to ESPN is Telvin Smith the LB, and then Poz the LB,

then Marks DT, heck Aaron Colvin is ranked 178 behind Texans Clowney (LB), and then odrick, Arby Jones... lol

Chris Clemons lmao...

Skuta... rolf

i got tired of looking for any other DBs... Cyrpien is good against the run and is up & down, brown has been a huge disappointment this year,

Gratz never expected to play...

and well McCray he's lucky to be on the roster..

Hold up, House was benched for Gratz also. So wouldnt that mean Gratz is our best corner if House gets benched for him? Isnt that how this works?
If McCray is healthy I have no problem with coming in and proving himself against the Chargers in lieu of Gratz when he gets tired or whatever...

I doubt it will happen though.

But I think the Jaguars might draft

Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida

Not true.. house was injured...
When Beckham was tearing up the league last year McCray also held him in check under 100 yrds and no TDs. Most of his yards came on a WR screen where he wasnt even covering him

You do realize that McCray was not a starter this season, right?

Take a look at the statistics from the 2014 year and then tell me why Gus demoted him into oblivion.

Also address my previous point... Do you really believe Gus knows what he is doing with the secondary this year, with all of the shuffling week in and week out? Just go read that post.

Gratz ranked 31 among best corners by Erick because of his play against the run

remember the team is mainly set up to stop the run

Quote:In the wake of a 31-20 loss to the Houston Texans last Sunday that dropped the Jaguars to 1-5, Jacksonville coach Gus Bradley talked Monday about the players having more accountability.n Wednesday, he showed he was serious about it.Although he is often viewed as an upbeat players' coach, Bradley showed he can put the hammer down.He benched Davon House after the cornerback struggled covering Houston wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in the fourth quarter Sunday.

So i read the article from 18 weeks ago (long time), and it says he will have competition from House, Aaron Colvin, and Gratz (the ones above him on the depth chart)...

I guess you all hate Gratz is that it? Is it because of the bubble gum?

I do not want the main focus of my corners to "stop the run"...

While McCray may not be ranked ahead of Gratz against the run, McCray is not afraid to get his nose dirty either... Why don't you compare the coverage statistics between them both?

In 2014, McCray was compared with the top 5 cornerbacks in the league against the PASS.

Oh my bad, wait hasnt house been a beast since the London Bills game with 2 ints & and what not???

I guess Gus knows what he's doing then for holding players accountable (or do you all not want that)?

It's not the Gratz hate you bozo... Holy crap.

McCray is CLEARLY better in coverage than Gratz is - and if you can't see that then you need to seriously get your eyes checked (assuming your brain functions properly).
