Not a very good one, and she lives in a different city than Jacksonville.
My goodness the amount of judgment from everyone regarding someone who has challenges getting to a game from another city is crazy in this thread. SMH.

LOL Some jerseys are. Not this one.

No kidding!!

Also, I didn't realize I wrote a really long run-on sentence.

Kane is going to be all over me now!

Really!

I think they are darling!
Quote:LOL You act like this game will determine either whether we make the playoffs or how much time left Gus Bradley has left to coach the Jaguars. Neither of those ideas are accurate. That is what I am getting at. This game is big only because of the kickoff time; otherwise it is just like any other home game against Tennessee (besides the ugly uniforms).

Only big because of kick off time? Ok. I guess the potential of taking control of 1 st place. The possibility of it leading to a playoff game. The insanity of the NFL that a team with a losing record can make the playoffs. That's what this game means. Does it guarantee it? No. But to say its just another game and only special is because of the start time is naive. It doesn't define Gus. He has,so far, already defined himself. Khan won't fire him, I agree. But this game is as huge as it gets in his 3 rd year of the rebuild and the implications it has.

If the Colts were up by 3-4 games, different story. But they were the contender. Their leader is out. By fluke this team can define this year by a lucky break and make the playoffs.

Just hope they don't play like their unis, baby piss yellow.

Much better! Wink

Lol. I was wondering how long it would take someone to say something.

I do like the jersey though. Just won't look good with the gold pants.

Thank you. I had to toughen it up a bit!

Being one of a very small handful of ladies that post on here regularly, I'm totally okay with "cute"...it's just not something that's used around here a lot!.

Quote:I have the same feeling. I think it's just the feeling you get as a long time Jag fan when the team starts to get a little acknowledgement from the rest of the league and is actually the favorite going into a game. I generally expect the team to embarrass itself but like I said, that's just from too many bad years of watching this team.

I am excited for this game though I think it will be close but the Jags will get the job done!!!
I know what you mean; I want a win and I think the Jags are capable of it, but I also know that for years now they tend to shoot themselves in the foot at the worst possible times... like when on national tv. Hopefully, they won't succumb to 'barny phiff syndrome' and pull this one out.

Go Jags!
Quote:Denard carrying the ball in the rain worries me. I would rather pound it with Gerhart than get cute with Denard in a divisional game.

Either way... Go Jaguars.

uh no... Gerhart carrying the rock is tantamount to conceding the game before it's started.

That is a nice defense when saying something incorrectly though.

"Oh, I was saying it sarcastically"

No you aren't. You are misusing a commonly used catch phrase. Get it right, or say something else.

The statement itself makes no sense.

"I could care less." How much less could you care? And if it is possible to care less than you already do then seemingly you are saying you actually care about said topic.

Aha! But when you say "I couldn't care less" you have designated a particular caring threshold which I would argue predicates a level of caring beyond caring so little that you don't care if you could care less.

Just my thoughts on the subject. Technically, both are correct.

Gold pants with black jerseys would have looked cool (given they don't look yellow). I don't like being all gold.

Pardon me, do you have any grey poupon?

No, "technically" both aren't correct. One is the correct way and the other isn't.

Please no turnovers for you Blake.

thank you lol... " i could care less" means you care but there is room to go down... "i couldn't care less" mean there is no way one could care any less about said subject since there are zero (bad 4 letter word avoided)s given in the first place lol.

Or anyone else.

And please take it away, defense.
