I talked Mom into buying it.

Can you talk her into buying it for me too?

I kid, I kid.

Sort of....
Quote:LOL, you had to go there!
It was right there! Haha. If I didn't say it, someone else would have!
This is a huge game.  Will it be the same ole Jags who lose games they shouldn't or is this a step in the right direction?

Idk, i have a bad feeling about this game. Im getting the feeling we lay a egg. I hope im wrong. I guess history says that i get my hopes up only to be let down.

I have that feeling as well.
Quote:LOL!  Yeah, I remember the first time I heard this term when I was a kid.  My Elementary P.E. coach said it when we were learning T-Ball...

I still think of an baby elephant for some reason whenever I think of the term...  I don't know why a baby elephant, but it's just what my mind conjures up
right LOL. Berth is rarely ever used in todays generation so Birth is the only reference i had to off. so my mind set from context clues was stay away from that guy cause the first impression is going to be terrible lol. same result but WAY WAY different meaning lol.

Yeah, that 3 game stretch where we loss to a 40 year old, a rookie turn-over machine, and the lame tin-horns changed me.

I no longer feel good about any games...  Nothing is given to us at this point.

But man, I'm telling you, I'm probably gonna be pretty miffed if we lose to the tacks.

Totally!  Even if you didn't fully realize the term, the meaning still transferred!  Linguistics is a very interesting thing!
I want our team to SMASH Marry-Yoda and the tacks into oblivion....

If there is one team I despise the most it is them....

I want to see us blow them out in an embarrassing fashion. Please give us this Jags....

So is the NFL network owned by the corporation that owns CBS?

For some reason, I thought NFLN was owned by ESPN...  Or is it wholley owned by the NFL?

It seems like CBS must have some sort of ownership % in the NFLN, because it looks like they use the CBS analysists and have that sharing of Thursday games with CBS.  Anyone know?

Marry-yoda, nice!!!

And I'm totally with you.  I don't want to lose to this guy as a rookie

I see we have some cunning linguists here tonight.

The NFLN has a partnership with CBS, but they are in no way associated with ESPN.

Is NFLN 100% owned by the NFL, then?  I'm assuming that's what it is, and the partnership with CBS is some sort of joint venture by the 2 separate entities...
Blake Bortles walking into the locker room looking serious

Yep, it is owned wholly by the NFL.
Quote:And if we lose tonight?

It will be an extremely sad 10 days until our next game.

Also, this message board will have more fury then a scorned woman.

It's been a while since I have seen this little gem.
