That didnt take long!  Had someone at work swing by and tell my how ugly these look.  

 

For the love of God can we please just go back to a plain black helmet.  And can we get some plain uniforms... no swooshes or stripes across the front of the shoulders, no change of color at the end of the shoulders, no random looking almost stripe down the side of the pants, the numbers on the jerseys dont need two distinctly different borders, even the number font looks stupid, and get rid of the brown/gold color everywhere but the logo.

 

or just go back to these.... maybe the multi colored stripe down the side of the legs is a little too wide and/or obnoxious but whatever.  Obviously change the logo on the helmet to the new one.  I dont care if you keep the full length jaguar on the shoulder pads.  and just rotate between teal jerseys at home, white on the road.  And white pants at home and white or black on the road.  And while I'm not a huge fan of the all blacks, if you want to bust them out a couple times a year then go for it.  and if once a year we have to have god awful looking all gold to make nike happy, then be my guest.

The team has doubled in value since he bought the team less than 4 years ago.

You all realize this is just for the Thursday night game right? These aren't permanent? Also, all of the "Color Rush" uniforms are all one color all the way down. Would they have looked better with black or white pants, yes probably, but these are just a one time dealio, no need to panic.  :wacko:

C'mon. What owner isn't? There's a reason he makes the money he does. He's not stupid. a lot of that money is being earned from London. Gold is appealing for him.


By saying branding not for the better, I am speaking about the uniforms.
