These uniforms are what I thought the last uniform change was going to look like.  I like them.

THESE ARE THE WORST UNIFORMS EVER. WHOEVER DESIGNED THEM IS CLEARLY TRYING TO GET THE JAGUARS TO MOVE TO LONDON. I BET IF WE HAD A GOOD QUARTERBACK WE'D GET BETTER UNIFORMS.

WOW!!!!! I LOOOOVE THEM. Interesting to move so far away from teal!!!!!!!!!! We definitely have a cool unique look now!!!

I don't know why everyone is in such a state over these. It's just one game for a gimmick to sell interest in otherwise uninteresting football games.

To point out the fact his mindset is more focused on that than worried about how the team looks. Which looking at this solely from a fans perspective, (NOT A BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE) hasn't been good in-terms of uniform/logo/color scheme/on-field performance. (No crawling jaguar, helmets, gold uniforms, the less and less absent teal, awful record). 

 

Let me try and break down what I am trying to get across.

You don't think his mindset has anything to do with more Gold in the Jags color scheme since he took over? Gold is obviously more appealing to him. 

 

Teal (which is what this team has been founded on, its in the teams roots) is not.

 

As a life long fan. Yes I have an issue with the absence of Teal.  

 

I think this is a valid theory, i can see the connection.

Fun fact. The crawling Jaguar was gone in 2009 when Weaver changed the uniforms.

 

 

And this may be hard to believe but when he bought the team, it was actually in more dire shape off the field than it was on it. What he has done in that aspect in less than four years, it is pretty amazing.

Good point with the Crawling Jag. I knew this, shouldn't have used that example as a reference. But what about the rest?

His mindset? Prior to the gold uniforms, the only "more gold" we saw was in half the helmet. It's still an accent color, just like teal. These gold uniforms are part of a larger league wide gimmick with Nike. Just like the Bills going all red or the Rams going all yellow.

It's not unprecedented. The BUCS got rid of their creamiscicle color, the RAMS got rid of their colors for totally different shades. Broncos too and also the Seahawks. 

 

Teal was a very trendy color in the 90's during our inception, not anymore. He's trying to put his mark on the team and he's allowed to change whatever he likes, he paid for it.

Dude. Take a long look at those helmets, then grab a Websters and look up innovation.

Yes. Butterscotch/ HoneyMustard. Much better than that passé Teal. Trendier.


The Matte colors do look better. The Viking helmets for instance.

It's one game, not permanent. Also, you can't have the tacks in all powder and us in all teal, HORRID!!

 

Also, Teal is outdated.

You're right. He did pay for it. But his taste is terrible. Afterall, he does have the last say in approval right?

 

I don't care if its "trendy". I liked it cuz it looked good.
