And that is the thing. He is only halfway through his second year. He has been pretty good overall this year. Guys like Yeldon, Robinson and Hurns should only get better along with him. The offense has some nice pieces in place.
Bortles' pocket presence is amazing. How many times has he escaped a free rusher this season? He's really been good at keeping his eyes downfield as he creates space for himself. We've got our QB. For that matter, we have a good (possibly great) set of starting WRs and a top RB in Yeldon.

What's funny is that if you asked everyone before the season began if they would take Bortles being in the top 10 statistically, you bet your butt everyone would take that in a heartbeat.
A second year QB, with other young weapons and a makeshift offensive line, hell yes top 10 sounds great!
The future is still bright.
George O'Leary once said about Blake Bortles "he's got a little cowboy in him"........he's a gunslinger. He's a playmaker. He's always gonna have INTs. That's what gunslingers do. He's gonna have lots of TDs, yards, and big plays in his career. He's already a top 10 fantasy QB at age 23.
I'll take a gunslinger ALL DAY over Teddy "check down" or Russell Wilson. In the long run, you'll agree with me.
