No.

Why would it?
Quote:You don't think playing games in London doesn't weight on FA decisions to come here?
Not really.

Money will dictate where the vast majority of free agents wind up signing, not a London game.

But but but then they will have to go on a free trip to Europe!
Quote:Who cares, its still ridiculous

Nothing in this article pointed to it being two homes games. Yet, that's the title. Misinformation is great.

As far as it being ridiculous, it actually makes a lot of sense.
Quote:Not sure it would be 2 home games right now, but eventually, it will be. Maybe even 8.

Just another reason for free agents not to want to come here.

I'm sure it is fun just to make stuff up as you go.
I don't see the problem with playing a couple away games in London. Two home games though, hell no. Just move the team at that point since it would be obvious they are trying to bleed this franchise to a slow death.

The problem with 1 away game, eventually they will want the Jags there for 3 games, then 4, then who knows how many. Not all of those will be away games most likely.

The writing is clearly on the wall IMO.
Soon Kahn and the Goodell will rename the team, The Jax-London Jaguars.

The Rodg should take a page from Adam Silver's book. Play your pre-season games in other cities and countries.

This is going to play out in the next CBA. The players aren't going to take it without some give by the league. It is funny that the league tells the domestic fans that the preseason is part of the value of their season tickets but they don't ship any of them over to London.

I think when the CBA is changed and the season is 18 games, it will be easy for the Jaguars to ship over 2 home games to London in consecutive weeks. They will keep their agreement with Everbank because it will still be 7 games in Jacksonville.

This is already a done deal and now it comes down to negotiation.

Not really. Even today, Khan said one home game through 2020, with an option through 2025. One.
Just announced 5 year extension with an option thru 2025. One game a year.

Shad dances around whether he would #Jaguars would want to play here two straight weeks - one has home and one has road team.

One game per year for the Jags. Don't over-react people.

Quote:You don't think playing games in London doesn't weight on FA decisions to come here?
If they have multiple convictions and couldn't get a visa, sure, it'd impact their decision, but the team probably wouldn't be pursuing them anyway.

I doubt it. Again, various leases and marketing agreements, IIRC, stipulate 7 regular season home games per year in Jacksonville. Eventually moving a preseason game to London, assuming the NFL doesn't ultimately get its way and cut the preseason to two games, might not be off the table. Then again, if I were trying to build a brand in London, I wouldn't do it by sending the fifth team scrubs over there to look, well, about like the starting defense does now.

Quote:Soon Kahn and the Goodell will rename the team, The Jax-London Jaguars.
I don't see the team ever dropping its Jacksonville moniker stateside, but as much as the fan base would go nuts over it, I could eventually see the team being referred to as the London Jaguars, or more likely just the Jaguars, when they play over there. I don't think it's particularly likely, certainly not until the team's future in Jacksonville is firmly established and it wouldn't be a media circus to do so.
But I'm confused. The OP's title says multiple games and he is not one to use misleading thread titles. I don't know what to believe anymore!
