Quote:StroudCrowd may have some off the wall takes, but at least he has passion.  It's better than those folks on the message board that agree with Marcedes Lewis and have faith that the "process" will eventually work.

Passion?  He has already stated he doesn't care if the team moves.  But oh yeah, this guy is the definition or a passionate die hard fan.

Not worrying about the team moving and not caring about the team moving are 2 different things.
Quote:I'm not a season ticket holder (never have been in the situation where I could afford it). If I were though, I'd be mighty angry at about the prospect of paying for home games only to have two of them taken else where. As a Pakistani, I could understand Khan wanting as many games in London as possible... in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he really wanted to move the team to London.

Why?  Your not paying for the games they move over there.
I've never been a part of a message board like this where a majority of the posters are so sensitive to other's opinions.

That's not a good quality.

I can only imagine how you guys are in person.

You said you didn't care if the team moved.  Or you are not worried and do care?  Or you worry, but don't care?  Hard to keep up.

I said I use to worry about the team moving and felt obligated to buy season tickets because I was financially fortunate enough to and felt it was my personal obligation to do my part to keep the team here. I don't worry anymore. Would I be upset if they left? Sure, but life would go on.  I still keep my tickets through all this mess but am doubting that decision next year as tickets are available for dirt cheap as single games from guys like me trying to unload them.

With the direction the NFL is going in general with greed, head injuries, etc, I'd be surprised if it is still around in 50 years to be honest.
Quote:This is going to play out in the next CBA.  The players aren't going to take it without some give by the league.  It is funny that the league tells the domestic fans that the preseason is part of the value of their season tickets but they don't ship any of them over to London.

I think when the CBA is changed and the season is 18 games, it will be easy for the Jaguars to ship over 2 home games to London in consecutive weeks.  They will keep their agreement with Everbank because it will still be 7 games in Jacksonville.

This is already a done deal and now it comes down to negotiation.

lol ... I just love these "it's a done deal" and "book it!" type posts. Are you Shad's driver or something?
Quote:Can you please ignore me or quit stalking me. You are annoying.

He's pretty humorous, actually. You, on the other hand ...

You are correct in an ironic way

Ironically, I find you one of the least funny people on this message board. You seeing my humor would mean I'm not very funny.

Thank you.

Passion now equals whining?
StroudCrowd1 should be nicknamed B2 because he is dropping some truth BOMBS.
2 games? Man all the news I hear from this team now are never promising Sad

If this MB ever met in person, I see it being like the news crew fight in Anchorman, lol.

You posted that you didn't care if the team moved. That's contradicting what you are saying now.

Jags moving to London seem all but inevitable and NFL won't be here in 50 years. Dat Dude the truth teller. You have the ability to take something so small and make giant leaps predicting the fall of the NFL 50 years from now. That's amazing! How do you do it? What's Dat Dudes secret?
2 games in a row (one home / one away).

Hmm,, seeing as how it's "reported" the Colts and Texans might be interested in playing over there,, I'd be all on board for that as long as it is supposed to be one of their "home games".

Jax having already played the week before over there as a "home" game,, then getting to play a division opponent in London instead of either Indy or Houston could be very advantageous for the Jags.

That would take away any homefield advantage of the division rival.

I could be on board with that.

Wishful thinking to think that would be the case.

I'm talking about the move to 18 games with the next CBA.  I'm not saying done deal with the London games.  I think the players will want alot in the bargain but the 18 game schedule opens up more of the London series type of events.
Quote:If they take a 2nd home game from Jacksonville, they'll potentially lose a good portion of the fan base that's been supporting this team for 20+ years, and the youth movement that everyone loves to tout won't be back filling the tickets on the high end of the scale.  I think this report is more speculation than anything else.  Two games, one home and one away is what's being tossed out there as the most likely scenario.
My guess would be that there will be more home games in London, but different teams...I doubt the NFL would take more home games away from a city that is already playing in London once, but they could have more teams lose a home game to London for more games over there

I've said it before and will again...Moving HOME games is NOT conducive to winning. Football is a sport where HOME field is an advantage..crowd, weather, familiar surroundings, etc. An important, make or break game gets the fans rocking, it can have an affect on the visitor. It can make a difference that could mean a playoff spot and so forth.

The London schtick is purely financial. Khan can do as he pleases, but personally I hate it for the reasons mentioned. For a while, during rebuild, ok. But as this team grows and hopefully improves, that HOME game can be a difference maker..which in turn short changes the fans.

Two home games? Color me gone. I'll be a TV fan.
