After the Democrats debate and having watched two Republican debates, if the election was held today (primary) which one do you want on either ticket to go head to head?

Discuss why or why not for any candidate...

Trump. Because he is hilarious.
He would make for the most entertaining president in history.

He certainly has made boring debates fun to watch.

Democrats

Sanders is now my top choice. His scathing blast of the NSA sealed it for me after he'd been making, for the most part, sane, rational statements about policies I could support, even if I don't 100% agree, all night.

Paul remains #2, but his campaign is, well, deep in #2 at the moment, and he's likely to be out of it soon.

Kasich is still my third option (though he's not exactly a front-runner either), Rubio is my fourth, and a write-in ballot with JIB's name on it is my fifth choice.

JIB, at some point before election day, I may very well need your actual name so I can vote for you.

"You see the thing about these other candidates is they aren't Trump. Just a bunch of lightweights. I just so happen to be Trump, and Trump is a winner. Therefore I am a winner, because I am Trump. These other candidates are losers, plus they are ugly and stupid. The last thing this country needs is another loser. What this country does need is the opposite of a loser, which is Trump. We as a country need to start winning again. We need to make the best deals possible, and believe me, The Donald has made some impressive deals over the years. Oh and Putin....ya fired!"

Trump overall, but Jim Webb is the best Democrat candidate imo. After the debates last night I think Trump could win it all, but we shall see.

Undecided.
hey OP where's Ted Cruz?

what the heck Is wrong with you?

But i'll go with Rand as who I'd vote for, since you don't have my boy #cruzmissle up there

unfortunately, Americans are dumb and another Clinton or Bush will be back in the OO

TJBender, how the heck do you go from a socialist, liberal, scumbag like Sanders to a constitutional and fiscal conservative libertarian like Rand as your second choice?
Trump

Biden vs Romney, coming right up.

would not vote ^^^

I vote the person, not the party. That's how.
But they are both fundamentally opposed to one another. what do you think that says about your views?

The my greatest concern is dismantling the NSA and upholding the Fourth Amendment, and that my views on social issues like same-sex marriage and abortion align more closely with Sanders than they do Paul.
sounds like Rand should be your 1st and only option, if that's your position

He's a constitutionalist who believes in State's rights to govern themselves, and he's for limited government

vote for Rand, dude

we dont' need a self-admitted Socialist like Sanders in office. He still hasn't told anyone how he's going to accomplish his pipe-dream Utopia

Sanders is easily my first choice.

Rand is the only Republican I'd consider voting for.

how is Sanders going to pay for free college and these federal minimum wage increases?

where is the money going to come from?

What do you mean? Professors are going to work for free. Colleges will operate on smiles and hugs. Come on man, get with the program.
