And yet, he makes the most plays. Let me know when Robinson and Lee start making 3rd down catches. You talk about Hurns' drops like if Robinson didn't drop any. Hurns dropped 1, Robinson dropped 2.
Didn't Robinson have a crap ton of 3rd down catches last year?  I remember every 3rd down he'd be the one to target.

"Last year"

LOL.  There's only been one game this season.  I like how you choose that as your sample size to fit your agenda.

What agenda exactly? I forgot, if you have a different opinion here its considered an "agenda". Clearly, Robinson lit it up last year with those 500 yards. How many drops did he have in preseason? Or do those not count now?
Allen Robinson has been a huge let down so far this year.  He had a horrible preseason and carried that over to the regular season.  It's like he forgot how to catch

Stop it with that agenda of yours!

I have no idea what your agenda is.  Maybe you don't have one or you just don't like Robinson.  I don't understand why you would want to ignore everything from last year and just look at only the first game of the year.  If you're trying to say that so far this season, Hurns has looked a little better, I'll give you that.
Not sure why Cyp isnt on the list, he was probably the worst of them all. He is the weak link on the defense and Sample should start at the SS position.

I like Robinson, it doesn't change the fact he has been a dissappointment. Hurns had more yards and TDs last year as well. Im not ignoring laat year, he had 500 yards, so do most journeymen.
Lee will give this offense an element it doesn't have, a guy that can make defenders miss in small spaces and rack up some YAC, the Jags receiving core without Lee is brutal, as Robinson and Hurns have similar skill sets. This offense needs quick twitch type athletes that can take the top off a defense.

Look at how many games they each played.  Robinson basically played half the amount because of injury.  If he hadn't gotten hurt there's no way that Hurns would have more yards.

My only argument with you was 3rd down conversions by Robinson.  You have to take into account how reliable he was last year until there's a large enough sample to show that he's regressed and Hurns is the man.  One game is not a big enough sample to prove that.

we should just spam screens to Denard and Yeldon to be honest

Haha yea, Yeldon is a special runner man. He gets "skinny" through the hole for a big guy, he has some of the best feet I've ever seen for a man that size. He and D-Rob have a chance to be one of the better RB tandems in the NFL, similar to Cinci's backfield (Hill & Bernard)
We need Lee out there too, but the most important one is JT. The guy will get the most focus and it will open up our passing game with the other receivers. The 2 TE set could work with him, and that's probably why they didn't use it against the Panthers. It just wouldn't work that well without him is what I'm thinking.

Hurns got injured too, he got a concussion and hurt his ankle. Either way, last year makes no difference in the fact he has been a huge dissappointment this year with drops all throughout preseason and the first game.

The return of JT will be nice but the Jags need a receiver to consistently beat man coverage on the outside, if they can't do that Thomas return won't matter much as teams will bracket him.

Yeah but he still played way more games...

Last year won't make a difference if what happens last game happens throughout the season, but we'll see if that's the case or not.

Not many teams have a beast receiver, man... This board is crazy when thinking we need a player the caliber of Dez Bryant or Julio Jones. The Patriots and Seahawks have won the super-bowl with average receivers. They actually have a big target with Jimmy Graham, just like we do with Julius Thomas. The defense was able to double team ARob and Hurns whenever they wanted to, and nothing was stopping them from doing it. They didn't respect the TE's, and that's a huge part for offenses around the league. They had a field day not having to worry about that.

Lets just hope he somehow gets over his dropsies.
