Before Joeckel got hurt, it wasn't an issue. Sam Young was a disaster and his presence changed the game.

His helment was removed and he got punched in the face, I think thats bad enough for Young.

I don't think PFF understands what our LE does.

This is a persistent issue with PFF, they treat our 5-tech as if he's like any other 4-3 DE.

Errrr....I hate to be the guy to break this to you but we haven't had a "play-making WR" in almost a decade.lets not act like this was some recent slip up.

Let's hope that with WR Lee returning to practice this week (side not DT Marks to return WED too), will mean an improvement to the passing game this week.

What is Allen Hurns chopped liver?  He was open a few times watching the Game and Blake Bortles chose not to throw to him for whatever reason..

 


Allen Hurns caught 5-of-7 targets for 60 yards Week 1 against the Panthers.


Hurns was basically the Jaguars' only downfield threat against the Panthers. Hurns would have had a long touchdown late in the first quarter, but Blake Bortles' throw forced him out of bounds at the one-yard line. Bortles connected with Rashad Greene for a touchdown two plays later. The clear No. 2 receiver in Jacksonville, Hurns will remain a boom-or-bust WR4 next week against the Dolphins. -Rotoworld

I dont understand why Blake didnt throw more to Hurns as he was open on a few occasions where he chose to throw to Greene instead (whom caught 7 out of 13 targets)?
If Blake Bortles wouldve thrown those six extra times towards Hurns, I assume Hurns wouldve had a TD.

Actually one of the blitzes that got t Blake was a missed pickup by Denard, it looks like.

I was telling everyone not to buy into the Arob hype after the scrimmage and preseason.
