Quote:Chris Smith is younger and cheaper m8, thats all that matters.

Where has young and cheap taken us? Son, please. It's a culture, I get it. That we are still preaching young and cheap is quite troublesome. But as said, I get it. #Because...

JW, is that you?
We should gotten La'el Collins when he was available. Especially with uncertainty at the LT position
Quote:I never seen Monroe get tossed like a rag doll or knocked on his rear like the Joke does. Both players are very mediocre but Monroe is the better smelling turd

I don't get it.

Don't you have some young cheap dudes to go recruit, GM?

Might want to turn your sarcasm detector on there, bud.

That was ugly. 9 million a year for that.

This one is a beauty too

Ha, it's been a long 9 months baby. Yesterday, Christmas. Today, reflection.

Exactly. Count me in as one of the loud mouths who dissed Clem. He shut me up. Winning is an art form, he has that...makes winning plays and was a steady veteran force in yesterday's frantic affair.

.

Agreed, he brings a lot to the defense.

Like I've pointed out previously, people want to romanticize just how good Monroe was, and it's usually the same people who were demanding he be cut or traded right up to the point when the team did what they wanted, and they waited all the way until Joeckel was hurt before howling about how bad that trade was.

He was nothing special here, and he's pretty much plateaued in Baltimore.
Monroe Monroe Monroe... What does it matter? Shall we rehash that we coulda had JJ Watt? Woulda coulda shoulda. We had Forsett...look what he did last year....blah blah...does..not..matter.

I'd just as soon bring in another look see at a kicker, but that won't happen.

Just bring a different team out this Sunday.

And yet others want to romanticize just how bad Monroe was, and it's usually the same people who were defending him like they defend every player on the team right up until the point when he was traded away. Now they use vine clips without context of Monroe getting beat in order to justify the trade because every move the current GM makes is always the correct move.

Here's a thread on how Ravens fans feel Monroe has been. Its pretty much in line with what most have been saying. He's been average, he hasn't played up to his full potential, and he was overpaid for his ability.

Three offseasons later and we're still looking for help.

I'm betting the way his feet are that he has a serious problem with them.  It is always possible that ankles and feet are a chronic issue because of the lack of blood flow to the area.  He probably isn't as healthy as he needs to be to play.  I won't be surprised if he doesn't make it in the league because of chronic foot issues.  It would explain the inconsistencies.

That draft is looking worse and worse as time goes by.  Yikes what a bad year to start a rebuild.
Quote:There will be no trade to fix the DE or LT situation. Not at this point in the season. People need to accept that and move on.

Yes I agree 100%. Caldwell will not give up draft picks. Its not his job on the line anyway. He will need them picks next year.
We need more than a trade. We need a miracle
Trade for the Cowboys O line, Tom Brady, and Bills defense. CHAMPIONSHIP!
