Quote:Like I've pointed out previously, people want to romanticize just how good Monroe was, and it's usually the same people who were demanding he be cut or traded right up to the point when the team did what they wanted, and they waited all the way until Joeckel was hurt before howling about how bad that trade was.

He was nothing special here, and he's pretty much plateaued in Baltimore.

And the guys ripping the team for trading him very likely haven't seen him play with Baltimore. And would also be the first one's ripping the Jaguars if they had given him that contract.
Quote: And yet others want to romanticize just how bad Monroe was, and it's usually the same people who were defending him like they defend every player on the team right up until the point when he was traded away. Now they use vine clips without context of Monroe getting beat in order to justify the trade because every move the current GM makes is always the correct move.

He hasn't injury prone for Baltimore. When he's played, he hasn't played good. And he's grossly overpaid. What is inaccurate about that?
How about Jake Long?????

He'd be better than Sam Young.
ESPN just mentioned Browns might go after him, we need to beat them to it lol
Quote:Hey, we did 2 years ago

And he's been below average since. Isn't he hurt again?

On the first drive after giving up a sack. But these guys obviously don't watch Ravens games to know.
Cam Bradfield or Guy Whimperwould be better than Sam Young
There's always been an issue with depth at offensive line. The front office doesn't seem to care much.

Quote:We need pass rush and we need a LT. With the pressure being on to win this year I feel like a trade could be on the horizon. But for who?
I think both GM Dave Caldwell & HC Gus Bradley are on the same boat and need a good season this year so it wouldnt shock me to see a trade for an LT (doubt the pass rusher since its not as huge of a need as the LT is right now).
How about Cameron Erving on the Browns for QB Chad Henne and LT Luke Joeckel?

Then the team can sign a QB from Free Agency.

Quote:Three offseasons later and we're still looking for help.
More like 7 offseasons later.
Joeckel, Cyprien, and Henne plus a 4th rounder, for Kam Chancellor.

Quote:Aim higher. I think Jerry Rice and Randy Moss are available. I was unable to unlock both in my madden game.

I might even take a look at petite Randy Moss as long as he is fast.

They aren't close enough to anything to make a trade for anyone. This is a tank year yet again.

You can't be serious... trash, trash, and more trash for Kam Chancellor?

Shouldn't you be on the Sharks message board?
Maybe the Ravens want to deal Monroe....

smh.... you guys are pathetic.

One week of real football and there are already dozens of threads firing gus and dave and blowing this whole thing up and starting all over.

Pathetic worthless bags of skin most of you chumps are.

Go fan somewhere else.

BTW.... 4 extra points were missed in week one. So Myers wasn't alone there.

A lot of teams are dealing with injuries, it isn't JUST US.

P. Manning looked like dog doo, the Saints looked hapless, the clots looked weak, the Steelers have no secondary....

The Bills and Chiefs are obviously going to face off in the AFC title game....
