Quote:I read that Camaron Beard was taking Scobee's place on the roster? That idea didn't last long

Just the vacancy on the 75 Scobee left to get another look before final cuts
I'm a little surprised Evans is still safe. Thought they might be ready to move on. Probably waiting to see what other cuts are out there first.
Quote:Sort of surprised by Morris being cut. I thought he did well yesterday, but guess it wasn't enough.

Oh well. I think the 3rd QB spot should be reserved for players the team believes can be developed into a starter some day, regardless of if you have an established starter there already, and Morris wasn't it.

There was never going to be a 3rd qb spot, although they might put Morris or another qb on the PS.

Wonder if Henne beat Blake in the QB competition...
I never in my wildest dreams figured these two would be cut. I figured they would find a way to stach them to let them develope.

*Wide receiver Neal Sterling, a seventh-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, released.

*Tight end Ben Koyack, a seventh-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, released.

Maybe the roster is deeper than I expected, or Dave is not as good at drafting or roster managment as I had hoped. Either way, I was wrong... I wish it was the first time.

Well they did say they were holding out the starters last game and Henne didn't play so.....

With some picks the intent is to develop. These guys may turn into contributors sometime in the future. The PS is the most likely landing place for now.

Dude, they're seventh-round picks. It's not like he cut Bortles.
No real surprises yet aside from Marshall not being cut yet.

I thought Rashaad played better than Marshall. I guess they liked Marshall's ST ability.

Nope, Storm was cut..

Quote:I don't think Storm makes it..
He was cut already
Cap Capi gone... Wow

Capi, Sterling, Morris and Koyack will all be on the practice squad imo.

Quote:Someone is about to have themselves a nice long cry about this one.
Lol not cry.. I guess its business they like Henne i guess.. Morris will get another shot tho.
I'm guessing 2 more LB get cut, one S unless we IR stash Loston and one OL

Quote:The list:[/size]

DT Richard Ash

DE Camaron Beard

DE Cap Capi

WR Kasey Closs

OG Will Corbin

TE Connor Hamlett

CB Jeremy Harris

DE Ike Igbinosun

RB Storm Johnson

TE Ben Koyack

WR Erik Lora

QB Stephen Morris

OG Chris Reed

CB Rashaad Reynolds

WR Neal Sterling

LB Todd Thomas

CB Peyton Thompson

WR Tony Washington

Were going to loose Sterling. Were trying to stash him on the PS.

NH3...
Highly doubt Sterling gets picked up, Nobody liked him enough to draft him before pick 220 and he's had 4 catches all pre-season.

He'll make the practice squad.

Like I have been saying Marshall is too risky to cut, they like him a lot and want to develop him, cutting him somebody else will snatch him up, we can stash him on the inactive list on game days, plus he adds and extra return guy if somebody gets hurt.
To me, only mild surprises at best in this cut list, with those being Reynolds and Capi.

I would think both players come to the practice squad, if not signed by another team.
