i hear Loston is headed that way.
Loston has a mild ankle sprain. IR seems a bit much.

Somebody has to go between George, Armbrister and Lotulelei.

Armbrister is going nowhere.

Agreed. He's locked in.

Lotulelei may be the odd man out

I see George as the most vulnerable LB.

Was it confirmed that Marks is going to PUP? If so, that only leaves three more to waive, trade or IR?

Quote:Lotulelei may be the odd man outCould be. Armbrister can play both MLB and WLB and George can play both MLB and SLB. Lotulelei only plays WLB.
Then again Sio Moore was just cut in OAK. Could be an upgrade to George or Lotulelei.

Quote:I wonder if he was playing at 100%?
Not sure and I'm not saying he deserves to be cut. It was just suprising. He seemed to be out of position alot.

George is safe, but one of the OLBs between LaRoy Reynolds, Armbrister and Lotulelei is going to end up on the PS. It's tough because all three have looked really good. I'd be tempted to keep them all but that would mean 7 LBs which is practically unheard of.
09-04-2015, 07:57 PM
Along with one OLB going, you know they have to either part with Loston or Evans, so that's two. Then you keep either Sam Young or Pasztor, and that's three. If Marks goes to PUP, we're done.
If Marks doesn't go to PUP, then I'm thinking you need one more cut between Marshall, Pierce, Shatley, Hood or Branch.

Quote:I wonder if the Jaguars, who have moved towards a more power and size oriented blocking scheme coached by former Bills coach Doug Marrone, would have any waiver wire interest in former Bills G Cyril Richardson.Yea only position I can see us claiming on waivers is OT depth, we may sign a vet at another position after week one when the contract isnt guaranteed

Quote:He was intentionally left out of the PS games so there would'nt be any film on him. While he played last night, he provided enough potential for someone to snatch him up in a time of need...
NH3...
I think Sterling is a safe bet for the PS. There isn't that much film on him from the preseason to make another team clamor for his services. He looked good last night, but that's against a bunch of scrubs. I like the guy and think there's developmental talent there. His size and great hands will make him worth spending some time to bring along. He's not quite ready for the roster, but he's got a ton of potential.

I can see them looking at dline and LB depth as well. Maybe even WR.
