Quote:I'm not going to imply anything. I'll be as specific as I possibly can. Those that practice the religion of Islam are not "out to get us" by any means. It's those that practice radical Islamist Extremism that are out to get us. They are Islamic Terrorists plain and simple, no sugar coating it. Are you going to deny that?
A very important distinction I wish more people would make.
Quote:Lol, dude, didn't you read my last paragraph??? My point stands. Assuming Islam is the reason for this attack based solely on a person's name or ethnic background is a dangerous and rather pathetic way to view the world. In my opinion...
LOL, I get your point. However, I do think that I pointed out that yes, I was "profiling" or "stereotyping" in my assessment as far as what was going on. I do agree with you somewhat, but as a "military person" that served during the time that I did as well as working for the military since then, assembling a "point of view" based on a person's name is pretty much a "natural" thing for me. Is it wrong? Perhaps, but that's what my experience has taught me over the years.
I'll admit that I "jumped the gun" when I identified this as having something to do with radical Islam, but that's just instinct. Fortunately for me, I was correct in my assessment.
Is it a "dangerous" way to view the world? Perhaps to some, but not to me.
Is it a "pathetic" way to view the world? Yes and no. My "military tactical mind" puts 2+2 together and comes up with a solution. My "personal mind" doesn't judge people (to the best of my ability) based on race, religion, color, etc.
It's really hard to express how I process things like this in my mind.

We disagree a lot but I like how you reason things out in your own way. I don't agree with the reasoning but I get it.

LOL, I appreciate your (I think) kind words. I just say what I think and am always open to opposing ideas.

Every time you post, i picture you repeatedly using air quotes in conversation.

LOL, If I was reading what I post out loud, I could see how someone can think that I do that. I can assure you that if it was an actual conversation rather than written, I don't do that.

I totally understand what you mean. It drives my husband nuts. Lol. He and I led very different lives before we got married so my thought processes totally wig him out sometimes. And that's not even throwing in the female aspect.

So how many fall into that category and where can we find them? How do we differentiate them from the peaceful ones?

Quote:Funny how other countries (including China) is cracking down and deporting Muslims while we, on the other hand, seem to be bringing them here by the boat load.
Y'all know how I feel about them so........
Quote:I recall seeing several U.S. registered ships bringing in boatloads of Muslims, across the Mexican border, at that. It was amazing.
See, who's right now........

Immigration to Swell U.S. Muslim Population to 6.2 Million
According to U.S. Census Data, the United States admits roughly 100,000 Muslim immigrants legally each year, representing the fastest growing block of immigration into the United States. Tennessee, in fact, is home to one of the fastest growing immigrant populations in the country, causing the
President to give a recent speech there in favor of expansive immigration. The Mayor of Nashville has launched a New American Advisory Council to help facilitate the legally-sanctioned transition from the previous inhabitants of Nashville to the new ones.

Sad news.
I'm still waiting to see what this administration is going to label this incident. After all, it's not a "random act of workplace violence" since the Islamic Terrorist didn't work at either location.
I wonder if this would be considered a "hate crime".
I wonder if the shooter is just an "individual" or "just a lone wolf".

Since you have no valid point to add to the thread other then to insult me while I prove my point. Maybe you should crawl under the bed
Chattanooga: The Effects of Our Suicidal Immigration Policy
The deadly terror attack that killed four Marines in Chattanooga will undoubtedly weigh on Americans sitting around the dinner table tonight and present questions for many heading into the weekend. Why have we not learned the lessons of 9/11?
