Someone should post a link to the shipyards project in the comments section.

Gotta love the British media's reputation of integrity and truthiness in their reporting.

See, we shouldn't have trusted this Khan guy. All that money he's spending on Jacksonville is an elaborate scheme to blind the sheeple of Jax from his true intentions to move the team. Just wait, one morning we will all wake up (hopefully) and the Jags will have disappeared to London for an endless supply of $$$, tea and crumpets. *

<p class="">Reports of client Shad Khan selling <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Fulham?src=hash'>#<b>Fulham</b></a> are utter nonsense and complete fiction. Where does this stuff start?! Spread the word. <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/COYW?src=hash'>#<b>COYW</b></a>!

<p class="">One more thought -- entire "story" on sale of <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Fulham?src=hash'>#<b>Fulham</b></a>, buying Spurs and moving <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jaguars?src=hash'>#<b>Jaguars</b></a> to new Spurs stadium is nothing but falsehoods.

Usually from the same location as dishware / gastroenteritis. It ends up getting flushed just the same as well.

The article had literally nothing to back up its claim. It just talked about Shad Khan wanting to buy Tottenham or whatever soccer team, and then acted as if moving an NFL team into the new stadium was a foregone conclusion.

I wouldn't blame Khan for wanting to buy another soccer team. Fulham is a hot mess.
The Jag-you-ars are the real money maker for Khan.

Does that news outlet just so happen to have a former Michael Silver hack out of LA now working for them?
I agree with a lot of the folks here and it was brought up today by Johnny O and Fat Tony on 1010XL this morning. Logistically it's a tall, VERY TALL order for any team to be franchised overseas. It's a lot to ask for them to fly across the pond for away games and it's the same way asking the rest of thirty-one teams still grounded here in the states to do the same. I just don't see how it's financially going to be stable for the long haul. I just don't. Mexico? Sure. Canada? Sure. Overseas? Negative.
And, again, the biggest glaring problem I have with such claims is just the overall lack of mentioning or flat out failure to realize how much Shad Khan has already invested into Jacksonville. Adding the videoboards just a year or two ago. Looking into developing the Landing to make it more appealing. Potentially building around the stadium to make it even better. Restructuring the overall fan experience in general here. He'll keep American Football in America and keep European Football in Europe. It's just that simple in my eyes. Why would he buy two franchises in two different parts of the world during opposing seasons? Only to pay out his wazoo for an upheaval and move to marry them together? No logic there. Especially when he cut his teeth here in America and still has a nice home in Illinois if I am not mistaken.

I see England has already adopted the uniquely NFL concept of a "dead zone".

If they can think it up, it goes to print.

Absolute twaddle.
07-10-2015, 01:38 PM
Fulham buying Spurs. Akin to Jags buying Giants. Not even laughable.
07-10-2015, 01:52 PM
Ridiculous! We all know that Shad is going to move the team to St. Louis after the Rams leave for LA!

Not that I agree with the story, but he definitely could. Tottenham is likely valued at around the £300m mark?
