Quote:Well aren't you mister mature. I think his entertainment was much more geared toward adults than kids.
yes because seeing our mascot tackle the opposing teams mascot is so entertaining to the 30+ audience. we all talk about it during our coffee breaks here at work
Quote:I remember you saying this last year when Frank Frangie took over for Brian Sexton and #BecauseJaguars, we unfortunately managed to do worse. If people aren't overly optimistic about the new guy coming in then you can't really blame them.
I used a hash tag? Really? Try again.
The Frangie hire was beyond the control of anyone inside the organization. He was the closest option available, and he happened to own a piece of the official station for the team. From what I understand, that official station actually ponied up additional money to put him in that seat when Sexton was hired on by the Jaguars to manage their digital content. He was a downgrade, but the team had little say in the hire since that was actually decided by 7 Bridges.
That won't be the case for the mascot, and knowing how focused this organization has been on improving the game day experience, they're not going to let that one slide.

You get coffee breaks? Probably that fancy crap too.
Beatnik.

Keurig? And here I had you pegged as a French Press man.

Wouldn't you like to know!?!

Yeah, Keurig is a little more street and a little less beatnik, although it also depends on what he's brewing in there.

I was thinking Nespresso...
I'll never forget that golf shot on the green he made recently, unreal

I agree, it is very entertaining! And I'm well over your 30 threshold...
There's a heck of a lot more that he's done than just tackling mascots as well. You should try lightening up a little mister serious!

This! Like somehow it's a character flaw to be amused by a mascot!!

Exactly. The guy was a true entertainer and made me laugh waaaay more than a mascot ever should have. He was talented and will be missed. Those will be large paws to fill!

It's OK for him to be grouchy. Pitt football hasn't been relevant for 35 years or so.
That makes for a lot of pent up anguish.
Favorite moment...
Catching the game winning kick against the clots.
Will miss the guy but understand it is important for his health! Good luck to him. And whoever replaces him will have a tough act to follow!
Quote:For all of you PC people go ahead and laugh (at the stupid antics to that weird looking cat) to fit in with the rest of the 904.
I'm not afraid to speak the truth !!
Jaxon could use a makeover (e.g. lose a little weight and go through some cosmetic surgery in the facial area). Also, I'm not really up to date on this Curtis dude but I did watch an HBO episode about Furbies and to be honest, those people behind the costumes are very strange.
So enjoying a mascot is now PC? Did you have a lead painted crib as a child?? :whistling:
