New kickoff rules |

The league is adopting the XFL kickoff rules. This is good I think. The XFL is serving it's purpose to experiment and let the NFL see if new ideas work.
There will be more returns now and fewer touchbacks, but no more faking into an onsides formation.

He brought a lot of joy to the State of Maryland...........
Longtime Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos dies. He was 94
Peter Angelos, an attorney who purchased the Baltimore Orioles in 1993, died, his family announced on Saturday. He was 94.
According to a statement given by the family, Angelos had been sick for many years. The family expressed their gratitude to the caregivers that brought him comfort in his final years.
"Today, Peter G. Angelos passed away quietly at the age of 94," the Angelos family said in a statement. "Mr. Angelos had been ill for several years, and the family thanks the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who brought comfort to him in his final years. It was Mr. Angelos' wish to have a private burial, and the family asks for understanding as they honor that request."

This is an exclusive club, with only 11 members. Only 11 players in Jaguars History have racked up 200 or more TOTAL yards in a single game. (Non-QB)
Only 3 players have done it more than once, which is Jimmy Smith, Fred Taylor, and Maurice Jones-Drew.
Jaguars 200 yard club members:
1. Maurice Jones-Drew - 9 games
2. Fred Taylor - 5 games
3. Jimmy Smith - 2 games
4. Justin Blackmon - 1 game
5. Leonard Fournette - 1 game
6. Deji Karim - 1 game
7. Reggie Barlow - 1 game
8. Jamal Agnew - 1 game
9. Marqise Lee - 1 game
10. Keenan McCardell - 1 game
11. Mike Thomas - 1 game
*Jones-Drew is currently the only member in the 300 Yard Club.

Round 1, 17: OT Amarius Mims
I believe Mims is Baalke's guy at 17. He loves the potential. It's risky with him having limited play time. He will take the risk. He won't give out his hand with removing Cam Robinson before the draft. Likely Harrison moves to LT and Mims starts at RT.
Round 2, 48: DT Leonard Taylor III
Very quick off the snap. High motor. If there's one thing about the University of Miami, is that they can produce some very solid DLs.
Round 3, 96: WR Devontez Walker
Your outside WR. Needs to expand his route tree. Solid hands and will contribute early.
Round 4, 114: OG Christian Mahogany
Love his run blocking. He drops to the 4th round because he needs to improve his pass blocking. Hopefully Scherff's future replacement.
Round 4, 116: CB Kalen King
Great ball awareness and quickness. Will fit nice into the NB spot.
Round 5, 153: CB Decamerion Richardson
Raw talent who is worth a flyer. He will benefit from being a depth guy or practice squad
Round 6, 212: C Andrew Raym
Very aggressive. Needs a lot of work on his fundamentals. I see him learning quick from Morse and pushing Fortner off the roster.
Round 7, 236: DE Rondell Bothroyd
Depth signing who can move around the line a bit. Likely hitting the practice squad.
Although I prefer several other options at 17, I'm trying to see through Trent Baalke here. Unless there's a can't miss drop to 17, I'm sold that Mims goes here. Get the big guys in the first two rounds. Protect the QB and get to the QB.
