Badlands National Park stands up to Trump administration by tweeting facts

As the Trump administration races to silence scientists in government, some federal employees are mounting small but visible resistance efforts. The Twitter account for Badlands National Park posted a stream of climate facts today, seemingly in protest of the Trump administration’s gag order on the Environmental Protection Agency. But the tweets later disappeared after gaining traction online. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Yeah that was a dumb move by Trump that I think will get overturned quickly, or simply not enforced.
It wouldn't have hurt if they added a bit more context too, though. Like that with carbon dioxide at 280 PPM, and falling, we were scary close to the shutdown of photosynthesis (occurring at right around 200 PPM) which would have been catastrophic in the other direction. Or that for the vast majority of the earth's existence carbon dioxide has been in the thousands of PPM without turning into Venus.
Fear mongering isn't the answer either.

Or that for the vast majority of the earth's existence carbon dioxide has been in the thousands of PPM without turning into Venus. Terrestrial plants didn't begin inhabiting the Earth until about 500 million years ago during the Ordovician period. The concentration of atmospheric CO2 during that period was 2240 ppmv. These were extremely simple plants with little vascularity. They slowly evolved over time and didn't reach the type of biodiversity we see today until CO2 levels dropped significantly beginning in the Carboniferous period around 290 million YA (this period saw the first ferns and eventually ancient conifers) (http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/carbonifero...blife.html). Flowering plants (angiosperms)...those ones we need for our food did not appear until 100 million years ago (https://www.boundless.com/biology/textbo...620-11841/). The levels of CO2 during this period (Cretaceous) was around 340 ppmv....which is a little lower than where it is today. We didn't turn to Venus primarily because we are further away from the Sun and stayed just cool enough to keep our oceans. About 2 billion years ago Venus likely had oceans but they boiled away. Quote: And also because the atmospheric pressure on Venus is 50x that on Earth. The temperature in Venus' atmosphere at the same pressure as Earth is about the same as it is here. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?"
They removed the tweets and blamed it on a former employee with social media access. They really showed Trump.
