Tom Brady

Houston would be a great place for Tom to finish his career. They would be very good with him also. Bet his skills would not look diminished then. If I am BOB I am phoning up my old employers.

Yeah Brady is a victim of some poor WR talent (and some O-line talent).  Not to mention the defense is almost as bad as ours.  You can't do it all.  Folks will say "oh he isn't what he used to be, all the other quarterbacks are better...herp derp (extreme dumb example lol).  But if you can understand the team's situation, then you can understand as to why Brady has struggled so far this season.  Folks like to take things out of context a little too often.

^I don't want to even think about that lol.  That would be totally unfair.

Again he is 38. If our NE and the rest of your parts need upgraded when do you make the move? It wouldn't be the first time Bill moved an established starter. Didn't he dump Kosar?

Brady to Houston is the only one I could see. Great situation for both involved but I'm not sure what compensation would be.

He isn't the same Brady but Garrappolo isn't nearly ready enough to be the starter. They stick with Brady for this year.

Its time to start thinking about an exit strategy if I was the patriots brass.

Is this guy such a legend/icon in your team to go down with the ship?

or

Do you basically Montana/manning him before he completely collapses?

or

Hope he turns into the next farve and plays decent until he gets grey?

The choice is easy for me but sometimes you just have a guy thats more than a guy to your town and you ride that horse all the way into the sunset willingily. if bortles brings this town 3+ superbowls, I'd never want him on another team even if it meant seeing him suck in his last few years.
