Quote:WR, TE, SS have been impacted by injuries. That isn't a "roster change" We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
How has gratz played to a benching? He has probably been the best member of the secondary so far..
Quote:How has gratz played to a benching? He has probably been the best member of the secondary so far.. It would appear that he has misunderstood his responsibility at times by letting receivers release to the safeties when he should have stayed with them in coverage. At least that's what I thought I saw happen prior to him being replaced temporarily by McCray. I could be wrong.

Quote:Almost 200 roster changes this year. 14 in the last 10 days. Clearly not a team with consistency. Still don't think it's a positive sign. Necessary? Probably. But not a positive sign. We've had 188 transactions this year. Other teams: Buccaneers: 223 Colts: 191 Jaguars: 188 Bears: 176 Vikings: 158 Texans: 154 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Patriots: 150 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Chiefs: 150 Raiiders: 148 Bills: 145 Lions: 145 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Saints: 142 (They didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Browns: 141 Titans: 140 Redskins: 136 Giants: 136 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Steelers: 130 Bengals: 130 Eagles: 128 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Ravens: 125 Seahawks: 113 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Packers: 109 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Chargers: 100 (they didn't count their draft picks as a transaction like we do) Broncos: 50 (not sure what they don't count as a transaction) Could not find transaction numbers for: Jets, Dolphins, Cowboys, Panthers, Falcons, Rams, 49ers, Cardinals Average: 142 Average (not including the Broncos): 146
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

The Otto position was manned by Leroy Reynolds, who was backed up by Dekota Watson. Watson was signed to play the Otto position. Thomas was backing up Poz.

Quote:Is Watson a bust? Should I panic? No panic just a head scratcher.

Quote:Why Thomas over Watson? Surprised me too given that JT Thomas was behind Poz at MLB. Maybe he was out of position at MLB? Hopefully he's better suited for Otto than he was at MLB. Quote:The Otto position was manned by Leroy Reynolds, who was backed up by Dekota Watson. Watson was signed to play the Otto position. Thomas was backing up Poz. Then I guess its Reynolds who got benched. Somebody got benched... and Watson wasn't starting from what I could tell. Edit: oh I see wht you mean.... ya, im guessing Watson doesn't know the plays well enough due to his training camp injury. JT Thomas was pretty uninspiring in preseason. He barely made the roster.
