Gerhart missed practice wednesday

#21

Hopefully he's out so we can see what Denard can do.

:thanks:

I was thinking of Peyton Manning. Last year he took Wednesdays off to rest his right ankle, but nobody ever worried about him missing games.

We can see what Denard can do even if Toby starts.

I hope you are not serious because good NFL fans don't wish injuries on anybody.

I am looking forward to seeing Gerhart run over 2 YPC.

Welp, I said he would be a go, I didn't say anything about speed and whatever problems you or any other posters have with gerhart should be directed to our line, not him.

He had no problem his whole college career and he had no problem while on the vikings.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

According to some posters here, it is also Jedd Fisch's fault for running a ZBS that does not work well with Gerhart.

Indy - in two games - has allowed 114 yds per game and a total of 3 TDs rushing.

So…. depending on the switch at C and RT, I'm hoping the Jags can pull off at least 70 yds on the ground this week.  Ugh.  So tough to watch this team not be able to run the football.

It's pretty sad when we're happy to reach 70 yards.  And that we haven't reached it yet in two games.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

It is also worth noting the Broncos and Eagles have better running backs than us, so you can't just blame the offensive line for our struggles on the ground.

Gerhart's missed 1 practice and 2 games so far this year...  HEY YOOOOOOOOOOOO!

At this point I don't know whether it even matters if he's playing or not.  The fact is that they aren't really utilizing him proberly.  Yes, the O-Line is bad, but there was at least 1 play where Gerhart had a hole, I believe to his left and he totally missed it.  Along with that, I remember at least 2 plays where they were trying to stretch the run and go around the tackles, which clearly doesn't work to his strengths...

So yeah, the O-Line is bad.  Gerhart is missing some holes, and the play calling is setting us up for failure.  It's a mess all around.

Yep but the players are just so bad it doesn't matter if we run the zbs or anything.

Gerhart is getting blown up behind the line of scrimmage more often than not.

I'm not sure about more often then not.  It's definitely happened, though.

The O-Line definately plays a big factor in the running games.  But there are other factors that have contributed to the puke-fest in our run game.

How did Gerhart miss two games he played in?
