A team is never about one player unless perhaps the QB.  If a team is reliant on any other player to be competitive, then they just aren't that good of a team.  And the game is never won or lost by one play.  There is something to be said about momentum, but thats no excuse.

True about teams not being about one player, but there are some games that you can say were decided by one play. A perfect example of this is the last time the Jaguars played at Washington. Take away the half-ending field goal that was made possible by having Jeff Triplette as the referee, and the Jaguars would have won it in regulation. Instead they lost in overtime.
