Quote:Having been knocked out cold like that both in high school and college, I know that when you "come to" you can appear like everything is cool. Back in the Stone Age when I played, they just put some ammonia under your nose and sent you back in. We all probably suffered numerous concussions that went untreated.

I think the league will keep Cyp out for 2-3 weeks.

Been there, done that.

I really hope he is okay and he will be back soon, But I also dont want to see him rushed back only to get hurt again.

Poz is a probowler (from last season) and Cyprien was heading towards one (hopefully he comes back in against the Redskins)

Quote:Actually, that Eagles player was the first to call for help from the Jags sideline. The picture gives the impression he's "the man" who knocked him out. Not true.

You mean #18, the Eagle looking at him?

Nobody will ever know if Cyprien was heading towards being a Pro Bowler, but everybody will know very soon what his status for the Redskins game is.

I would be shocked if he even flies to Washington.

He's got to go through the leagues concussion protocol. I wish him the best and a full and speedy recovery.

That is why I expect him to be listed as DNP/out all week.

Was scary no doubt. Looked more like a freak accident so hopefully he doesn't develop a recurring theme of concussions. Would be a sad way to see any player, good or bad, go out of the league early
