So who needs QB next year?

Quote:Watching Tannehill he stares his recievers down and doesn't seem to have arm stregnth/accuracy. Plus he doesn't seem have any idea where the pressure is coming from. Granted this was watching a few games not studing him.Not sure why, but I see alot of Ponder watching him. A couple good plays, then alot of head scratching. The thing that still scares me about this list is someone like the falcons are not listed on it and could be the first pick too and try and trade out to the browns or someone

Jags tinhorns vikings and rams need QBs
there are other possibilities but these are the teams that possibly will go for one in the first, imo. I think the tacks will hold out and give Locker another shot. Browns with Hoyer. and Raiders with pryor/McGloin If the Bears let Cutler go, they will look to drafting a QB Quote:The thing that still scares me about this list is someone like the falcons are not listed on it and could be the first pick too and try and trade out to the browns or someone If Cleveland can trade up in the draft, then so can we.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
I guess if Caldwell just falls in love with Bridgewater he'd have enough draft picks to make a move. I just hope he doesn't. I'd rather stock the team than trade it all away for a QB that in my opinion isn't exactly a "once in a lifetime" prospect.

I see Bridgewater as someone who may be a GOOD quarterback but I just don't see anything to get worked up over if we don't get him. ![]()

Granted this was watching a few games not studing him. Tannehill's issues have nothing to do with arm strength, he can spin the football. His issues are inconsistencies with his accuracy (particularly the deep ball), ball security, and inconsistence in his decision making. His arm strength and athleticism are his best attributes.
Quote:If Cleveland can trade up in the draft, then so can we.Thats true but i really dont want to spend draft picks to trade up... But i know some really want Teddy more than multiple picks too. Im just not sold on him as much as others. Bah... I do love draft time tho its always a guessing game and enjoyable. Quote:I wholeheartedly agree. I see Bridgewater as someone who may be a GOOD quarterback but I just don't see anything to get worked up over if we don't get him. It's like I've told everyone else.... He MAY become the best QB of this class. Fact is, we won't know until they are all here. Wilson wasn't touted as the best of his class, yet it seems he may be. As long as we get A quarterback in this draft I'll be happy. If it is a 2nd round guy maybe he doesn't start day 1 or maybe he does. Bridgewater put up gaudy numbers against the AAC. In that same conference is a guy named Blake Bortles. He's the guy who outscored Teddy in their head to head matchup. UCF's only loss, to an SEC team in Scar. Louisville won, but Teddy had his worst outing, in their SEC matchup an unranked Kentucky. I don't really get the hype. Teddy is #1 first round sure fire thing, and Bortles is... a 3rd rounder? Because when it comes to college prospect, winning record isn't as important as their skillset and if it will translate well at the next level.
Three teams have quarterback emergencies:
Jaguars Vikings Texams Two teams may need one next year: Buccaneers Rams One team can go either way: Browns
There will draft a QB, either in the first round or early second. Don't believe the Hoyer hype. He was let go by NE for a reason. He and Jason Campbell will probably stay next season as backups/mentors/stop-gaps for their next potential long term QB.

New England does not need more than one backup because Tom Brady is almost never injured.
In the Wilson argument, he should have been seen as the best QB in his class. He had all the tools and makings of a top QB prospect...minus a few inches in height. He's athletic, has a great arm, highly intelligent, and he's a leader.
Quote:Did Washington give away the first overall pick? It's looking very likely that this becomes the case. I have my opinions on RGIII and Mike Shanahan and they aren't favorable for Shanahan and his staff. They totally have misused RGIII and his abilities. He should have been developed as a pocket passer from minute one. He has the tools to be a pocket passer and a good one too. I know he's athletic but not every athletic QB needs to be a running QB. Now he's been injured, beat down, and possibly ruined his potential as a passer.

I still don't see how the Rams can pick first. The last three games for the Texans are the Colts, Broncos, and Titans and they already don't have a head coach. This article is about teams needing quarterbacks and includes one man's opinion about the quarterbacks who will be drafted.
