So who needs QB next year?
|
Just trying to see if we win a few more which QB would be there for us in the top 10 based on who would need one or move up for one.
So who are the for sures that need a QB and who are the possibles? For sures: Jags Texans Browns Vikings (Ponder can't go a game without getting hurt) Possible: Titans (will Locker recover) Raiders (want to put them as a for sure but they might wait a year) Dolphins (might want to move on from Tannehill already) Jets (Would Geno do better with a better WR core or is he that bad?) Cardinals (draft one to sit behind Carson for this year) Rams (possible to move on from Bradford but Doubtful) Bears (They might let Cutler walk) Any others? I don't see the Rams or Bears taking a QB in the 1st
Pretty much the QB hunt as I see it will be between Jax Houston Minn Oakland Cleveland that's who I think will be looking at QB in the 1st, not all of them will get one in the 1st.
I think you got it, but those teams under "possible" most likely won't use their 1st pick on a QB.
Anyone think the Jags would pick a qb in the 1st, and then use one of their picks in the later rounds to get another one? Quote:I think you got it, but those teams under "possible" most likely won't use their 1st pick on a QB.I think they might get one in the 4th or 5th with one of the extra picks we have. This draft has a lot of talented QB's coming out.

No way the 'fins are moving on from Tennehill, they're doing alright.
Browns might or might not, maybe they'll give Hoyer another go next year? He was looking good for them.
Quote:The Jags have Chad Henne so we're set. Nothing says securing a job like 40 pass attempts for 195 yards.
the next question would be is who would hold tight and suffer another bad year to get Winston?

Some of these teams may look to free angency or trade if they feel they have the parts to win now, like the texans, who just had bad QB play bring down a loaded roster. Vikings may qualify as well.
Fundamentals are the crutch of the talentless

Quote:Yeah, only 195 yards - and all those All Pros he was throwing to. So we can go ahead and put you in the resign Henne and start him in 2014 camp, then?
Teams that need a Quarterback in 2014 (that are potential 1st round pickers)
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:i would gladly give our second rounder for tannehill I wouldn't. Not a fan. I don't think they are cutting the cord there yet anyway, so moot. Quote:I wouldn't. Not a fan.I wouldn't either, not that i think he's bad but i think we can draft better. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
This is my question also....I hope...I HOPE HOPE HOPE...Chad Henne is not our QB next year. If Gus stays with that guy and I dont care what kind of season he has or whatever he does, he is a good back up. Much better than Gabbert, that's for sure. If Gus says Chad is our man, might as well call it a season next year. I dont mind having him as a back up or in training camp if he can prove that he deserved the job over whoever else he is against, then give it to him but I would put Henne on a short leash and if he has a bad couple games, bench him

Quote:I wouldn't. Not a fan.Watching Tannehill he stares his recievers down and doesn't seem to have arm stregnth/accuracy. Plus he doesn't seem have any idea where the pressure is coming from. Granted this was watching a few games not studing him. |
