On a bad note, I have slipped under 170 lbs since being diagnosed with cancer, and likely will be hospitalized next week. I have lost 102 lbs since being diagnosed, which isn't good at all.

Has someone pulled the "I'm jealous of all that weight you lost" statement yet? Someone said that to my dad during chemo, I nearly punched their lights out.
No. 6 months ago, I looked good. Now I look "cancer sick"

PS: When we met in person, I was roughly 245.

Correction:  That was a shutout...and that was beautiful!

Oh I agree, one of my favorite wins of all time. Ugly can be beautiful.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

Any Game that the Jaguars win looks beautiful to my eyes.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

I just didn't like the way the team played. Our offensive play calling and personnel decisions are idiotic. We seem to just kill our own momentum... take off the handcuffs please. I'm not sure why Dede was returning punts. Nortman had some amazing punts early in the game. It felt like a game neither team deserved to win. I feel like if we were ever to get behind just one touchdown the game would be over. Big ups to the defense it is a championship level unit. The offense needs to get back to playing like they want it. If we have to lean on it to bail us out so be it but don't just force them to have to win the game. We took no deep shots at all. Whenever we got a first down and found room we decide to throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage twice in a row... again cooling our QB off and forcing a bad 3rd and long situation.
No pain, no gain.

1 play of 20+ yards. One.

I think that is out of 2 ATTEMPTS.......

unacceptable. May as well play like you have nothing to lose next week. Its been a good season regardless. I think we have a Lombardi Trophy defense but with any other defense they're only human and can't be subject to staying on the field the entire game while we put up no points.
No pain, no gain.
