But when you play in a division with QB's like Brees, Newton and Ryan. You have to be better than just "okay". This could be his last year in Tampa. And whats the completion percentage? Thats why one is viewed differently. Well along with one other thing. (06-29-2018, 09:48 PM)imtheblkranger Wrote: So Jameis denies, denies, denies. Now he's officially suspended and issues an apology saying the issue was "out of character " He didnt apologize for anything specific. He still maintains his innocence. He barely maintains innocence there. Read between the lines.
As for Comp % Blake was at 58.8% after 3. Jameis is at 60.8% I would say that's a massive difference. If Jameis was around 64% sure. Cam Newton's career is 58.5% with one year over 60 and one at exactly 60, and he's viewed as a top QB. And the "Bortles is a drunk" narrative is still out there?

But he's viewed as one even with a sub par comp % The reasoning for including him was to showcase that Jameis does not have a magical stat that puts him in a "top tier" ranking. If anything, his stats should be putting him towards the bottom. Yet the perception is, for the most part, that he's this top flight QB and he's just not in any sense.
