Jalen Ramsey part of the play that knocked them out of playoff hunt. Sweet justice.

Couldn't happen to a nicer fella.

That was another good finish for the 49ers, giving them a first round bye and eliminating the Rams from the playoffs. The Vikings have also clinched a playoff spot and there will be a new NFC champion. I wonder who it will end up being.

Ramsey is clearly playing Man/Under.. While the Safety is literally on the sideline. It's most definitely on the Safety. He should have been over the top, not on the sideline playing with himself... His fault, not Ramsey's.

It's never Ramseys fault. (12-22-2019, 12:40 AM)StroudCrowd1 Wrote:(12-22-2019, 12:35 AM)Eric1 Wrote: Ramsey is clearly playing Man/Under.. While the Safety is literally on the sideline. You clearly have no clue what you're watching/seeing, or talking about.

He should have been over the top, not on the sideline playing with himself... His fault, not Ramsey's. He was playing trail-man-underneath coverage like he was supposed to on that play. He was there to take away and out, in, or comeback route and the safety was supposed to have any route that went deep. The route went deep. The safety blew it by cheating too close to the LOS and way too close to the sideline and couldn't recover. The only thing we don't know is whether or not Ramsey should have jammed the receiver at the line or not to give the safety some help. Coaches will often not call for a jam there because they want the trail defender to have a clean shot at jumping the route if the ball is thrown underneath. Just depends if the DC is trying to bait a pickable pass or not. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
