When did insurance rates come into this? Obesity isn't transmissible. It's a perfect choice for a counterargument. Vaccinated people are far less likely to suffer severe COVID symptoms. Most have none at all. You guys can continue this drumbeat of choice, and I agree it's yours, but you can't hide the fact vaccines are hugely successful in negating or halting COVID illness. Yes, yes, the vaccinated are still transmissible (to almost exclusively unvaccinated) and there is a small percentile of breakthrough cases, but the numbers don't lie. Vaccinated people face much less risk of contracting or exhibiting severe symptoms. Argue around it all you want, those are the facts. We show less advertisements to registered users. Not moving any goal post, my reply was a continuation of the post you replied to. As to your next two points I do not disagree. At 21:24 Saturday September 4th according to the CDC under the current political environment you are correct. At the same time you cannot tell me any long term effects of the vaccine. You cannot guarantee getting the vaccine will end the virus. There are so many unknowns and we are being fed half truths at every turn. Ordinarily some skepticism and demanding answers would be applauded until now. Back on topic, southern border is total chaos. Afghanistan is/was a total disaster. What does Washington want to address? Ice cream machines.

At some point you just have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening.
My McDonalds here in GC, their ice cream machine is hardly ever broken. I get a McFlurry from there at least twice a month..
I always ask for extra m&m's in mine.. they always hook me up. I swear, half of the mcflurry is m&m's lol

It's a perfect choice for a counterargument. Comparing obesity to COVID is a red herring. It's the domain of the direly disordered desperate to distract. While I cannot tell you the vaccine has no side effects, there's a large and highly educated assemblage of people who research and make this stuff for a living who say the risk is minimal. I will believe them before I believe those who resort to self-administering horse medicine. And while the vaccine may not end the virus, it absolutely does more demonstratively than feed store remedies to drastically reduce those who are ill and dying. Current hospital and morgue records prove it conclusively. The Federal Trade Commission (you know, the government agency we created to deal with these matters) is handling the issue. Not the White House administration. It's important to remain focused on facts.
If you want to post this in the Covid section, I'll address my concerns with the experts. I think folks are right that we are getting off topic, but, on the other hand, who really cares about McDonald's McFlurry machine vendors? Let the investigatory bodies deal with that. I don't think this story is a reflection of anything but human greed. I'm glad they are being investigated.

It's a drop in the bucket. Some agency, somewhere, needs to investigate racketeering.
