Are we aligned with socialist values, or is it that China is trying to subvert American masculinity while encouraging it in their own population. If you've listened to anything I've said about here about the subversion that is taking place, you should know that part of critical theory is to destabilize a culture by undermining it's power structures and cultural norms. There are no norms in critical theory outside political power. Masculinity is useful for maintaining political power. It would make sense for conservatives to embrace traditional masculinity because they have a system they feel they want to maintain. It would make sense for China to embrace traditional masculinity because they have a system they want to maintain. It would make sense for progressives to embrace the destruction of masculinity, because they want to subvert the system.
