Probably most people think, if you smuggle drugs into a foreign country, and they catch you, they're gonna put you in jail. Maybe this will be an episode of "Locked Up Abroad." No pun intended. What ever gave you that id-......... "Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner has reportedly pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and will enter a 26-week domestic violence counseling program following her arrest on April 22 in Goodyear, Arizona. The WNBA announced that it suspended Griner for the first seven games of the season as a result." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2446...nce-arrest Oh. The Russian government denied her appeal for freedom last month. Griner received more bad news this week; her lawyers told People magazine that Griner will serve her sentence in a “general regime prison,” which is considered the “harshest category of penal colonies for women.”
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/rus...1999d490a9 President Joe Biden, fresh off his party’s surprisingly strong performance in Tuesday’s midterm elections, renewed his “determination” to free Griner earlier this week. The U.S. president said he hoped his party’s results in the midterms meant the Russians would take negotiations “more seriously.” Yeah, that'll deter the Russians. About as well as Biden has deterred them in Ukraine. Reality denier.
