And a pretty sure sign we won't draft Tunsil, although I sure wouldn't mind it.

Quote:Using that logic Gerhart would still be here because Dave is the one who signed him as a FA. GM's aren't going to always hit on their picks and they know that. The fact that Dave signed Beachum who could be a franchise LT is the only thing that matters if Joeckel sucks. Getting the right guys is all that matters. You're only as good as your next move.
Gerhart wasnt a draft pick.. Key word DRAFT PICK..

I don't think they will trade him. They plan to exercise his 5-th year contract option after the draft. Unless they trade him during the draft.

The only way I see them actually trading him is if they have Tunsil land in their lap.If he's on the board when they pick, that might be too much of a temptation to pass on for the front office.  Even if Jack or Bosa are still on the board, Caldwell might be inclined to pull the trigger.  The trade at the top of the draft has really created a few scenarios that weren't there a week ago.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Any GM who see's that week 17 tape against Houston would have to be brain dead to give us a decent trade.

Translation he doesn't want to extend his fifth year if teams whom might want to trade a fourth round pick for him don't want to pay his top 10 average for that year.

I don't see Luke Joeckel a Jaguar in his fifth year.  High chance that Jaguars could draft a LT in the first round or 2nd round if not Tunsil maybe another guy in mind?
