The league decided it was worse punishment to have to play for the Bungles.

As much as it's ridiculous Green isn't suspended, as others have mentioned, hopefully he goes for 200 on Tennessee
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Naw... you must have AJ in fantasy or somethin lol

He threw multiple punches, put Ramsey in a headlock and took him to the ground.
Dude has to sit a game. That's the stuff that people freak out over when Suh or Burfict or one of these guys do it.

Intentionally trying to hurt someone... you gots to go.

I don't play fantasy football  Big Grin

AJ hasn't shown a pattern of this type of behavior.  It was a one time incident.  Fines and let it go.

So Evans suspended one game for fighting, but wasnt ejected from the game

Green was not suspended, but was ejected from the game

Suspend the NFL instead

I can't wait for the new CBA to see how much money they actually lose for being incompetent in dealing with all the brainless thugs they employ.

The best part about the fight was the fan reaction. A friend of mine lives in St. Nicholas across the river from the stadium. He texted me right after the fight happened. He was watching the game at the house and went outside to check on something. The booing was so loud he could hear it at the house, so he ran back inside just in time to watch a replay.

Green should have been suspended. What's to stop the next WR from picking a fight with Ramsey to get him kicked from the game, and then just take the ejection? And if the next time Ramsey gets hurt as a result...

Seems kind of ridiculous that Ramsey and Green got the same punishment too. Yeah, Ramsey pushed him. Then Green took it about 100x further. If Ramsey had retaliated, it'd be one thing. But he didn't. He just took it.

One thing disappointed me:

The fans didn't shower Green with their drinks and they didn't throw popcorn/whatever else they had on him as he was escorted out of the field and through the tunnels.

When it comes to Brad Allen officiating crews, I'm assuming there's going to be plenty of penalties and a good chance for a controversial decision.

The Bengals were very fortunate at the time that Jalen Ramsey was ejected. Bad officiating.

My guess is he will still get fined.  But I agree Green should have been suspended as well.

What, there's no pushing and shoving in football?  I've heard coaches and players say keep your head in the play. AJ melted down because Ramsey took him out of the game and was chattering to him about it. The push was just an excuse.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Ramsey will never be homeless when he has a home inside AJ Green’s head

I was just thinking of the show Ramsey was on last week discussing the bengals game and the defense. And he was asked what kind of guy.he.is. His response was if you were standing across from me on the field you would not like me. I think this is pinpoint accurate of the AJ green situation.

I love Ramsey lots of fight in him, been a long time since we had any players like this. Last player I recall like thati DD.

Oh I’m pretty sure he did a little more than just take it.  I have to imagine he was probably laughing his [BLEEP] off.  I would be if I knew I had just gotten under a guy’s skin to the point where I was taking punches while wearing a helmet and pads to protect me from feeling much of anything.

I hope Green is mad and ready to have his game of the year so they can beat the stinkin Tacks.

I wouldn't worry about that, more or less it was the officiating crew. Brad Allen is a tool, and usually his games are full of laundry, and stupid calls.. More so than most other refereeing crews.

I long for the day the NFL actually holds officials accountable for stupid decisions, and fines/suspends, and fires bad refs.
