we were playing zone in the first half too... hence these open quick passes for gabbert

you play man to man and make the QB fit the ball into covered tight spaces, you dont let him have open quick looks in a zone

Looks like Poz is out there a lot with Jack now, not terrible. Wish Smith was out there but Poz will be serviceable. We really wet the bed on defense this game. 16 points? Vs that offense? Thats awful, refs help or not.

It's hard to watch Blaine pick us apart. He looks like the guy Jags thought they drafted. When he gets good protection, he can be effective. No doubt he was terrible during his time here, but he had nothing to work with either. I wouldn't mind seeing him succeed, but wish he'd wait another week.

I never understood why the analysts were so sure the Jags were going to win this game. This had all the makings of a letdown. Let's just swallow a Loss and get out of here healthy. Beat the Clots next week and win back our division lead.
