Jags D vs Barkley week 1
|
All 3 of Cleveland's QBs shredded NY and outside of his first run, Barkley didn't do much and neither did Eli.
No concerns here
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Even on his first run, Barkley was met in the backfield. The Giants RG got WHIPPED by an inside move, luckily the Browns SLB missed his assignment on contain, and Saquon made 3 people miss. On every play Saquon touched the ball, defenders blew up the Oline and met him in the backfield. Saquon is clearly talented but will go to waste behind that blocking. If you're struggling to block THE BROWNS.. imagine when a legitimate team lines up across from you. If Giants fans think Saquon will be a mismatch for Telvin or Myles Jack... they're sadly mistaken. They also seem to think Saquon being held in check after the first run was because Odell not being in to keep the defense honest allowed them to put all 12 guys in the box. Their team was 2-14 last year, they're delusional.
Championship Formula:
1) Draft Trevor Lawrence! 2) Play good physical Defense! 3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy! 4) ??? 5) Blank #2 6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
I will say, I watched a bit of that CLE-NYG game last night and I was not impressed by Hernandez. Just seemed like he either got beat or plain whiffed most every time I watched him.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say! |
