Texans@Jaguars score predictions

(This post was last modified: 10-15-2018, 09:23 PM by JagFan81.)

This game will go one of two ways.

We carry on from the last two weeks, o line giving Bortles no time so he's just scrambling around trying to make something happen and D thinking the game is over if we fall behind by 7.

Or, we turn up, the same team from the first few weeks, egos bruised and the chip back on that shoulder, and take down a division and playoff rival and potentially take top spot in the division. A good win will blow all that negativity from the last two games away.

I think we can win, we just need to find a way to give Bortles time, WRs matching their catches and the run game to have some effect. On D, someone make a play.

I want my Sacksonville Swaguars back.

I can't believe the team will replicate that weak of a performance. It is still essentially a very talented team. Fournette is "hopeful" to be back. If he is, I think we win 27-17. I hope the fans won't get back to booing Bortles if he has a couple of three an outs but I think they will if he does and that won't help.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Call me jilted, but I’m just finding it difficult to be hopeful about this game. The Texans have momentum too.

24-13 Texans. We are on a downward spiral. I had so much hope for this team.

For the sake of hoping to get out of this pit of misery. I'll go out on a limb. A very shaky limb.

Jaguars - 35
tinhorns - 13

Defense needs to kick that [BLEEP] and take no prisoners in this one. And our offense needs to run that damn football like they were doing last year. They need to stop [BLEEP] around and start adjusting their schemes that'll get this team out of a funk. Kansas City used speed and misdirection to beat us. The Cowgirls took some of the things they saw when we lost to Mariota and the tacks and the Chiefs.

Wash and Hackett better have a [BLEEP] answer for it this weekend. And if they can't figure it out. Marrone needs to man the [BLEEP] up and take over the reigns then. That's what a HC does. You're at .500. You're in a weak [BLEEP] division. I don't want to hear anymore [BLEEP] excuses.

Wash once again disregards the fact that he has two best cover corners in the league and calls another soft [BLEEP] zone scheme where QBs pick us apart with 8-10 yard pass/runs.

Texans - 31
Jaguars - 10

If Marrone's presser is any indication... something scheme wise is gonna change up a bit...

It should be on D, cuz the offense ineffectiveness isn't scheme (although play call has been suspect at times)

As others have indicated, I can’t be too optimistic about this. They do seem to be on a spiral... seems like there could be a locker room issue. ‘Almlost’. Gotta take the tinhorns here until they prove otherwise.

I think we are in trouble with their WR's. I think Jalen has been dinged up bad all year. Hopefully Bouye will play lights out.

I don't want to watch. If I weren't in charge of making the chili for the game I would seriously have considered playing golf instead.

This defense looks like a group of incredibly talented players who haven’t learned how to play effectively together. Confusion reigns in pass coverage. Wide gaps open up in the run defense. Tackling in the secondary is terrible. Not what you’d expect with this amount of talent. Maybe they’re just overrated. The disappointment is more painful this year because expectations were so high.

Houston 24. Jax 13

I'll probably get the Pats/Bears game where I live...
so I may not have to watch.
But I'm with you here... I'd almost rather just check the score at 330 and not stress for 3 quarters until I give up lol

I predict that many people here will blame Blake Bortles and/or Doug Marrone and/or Nate Hackett and/or Todd Wash for either losing this game, or not winning this game good enough.

I will bet my life that one of these previously mentioned things happens without a shadow of a doubt.
