Sam Bradford for and against

Pass. I'll stick with what we got through this mess of a season and look for a long term QB solution in the offseason.

Bradford had 3800 yds, 20 td to 5 ints and 73%percentage in his 15 game season with vikings.

And the following year went 3-0before he got hurt.

He's not a gunslinger but he could be a temp upgrade, assuming he's not injured.

For, BUT...

1. Clears waivers
2. Low-cost contract with a team option for a second year

Otherwise, against.

He sure didn't look the part for Arizona this year. Don't know, guy may not be able to bounce back from this latest injury.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

At this point whats the use... he would be a place holder at best, but with our team all banged up it wouldn't make a difference... for now ill just be watching college qb prospects... Blake sucks and the 2019 qb FA sucks as well... drafting or making a big trade in the off season is what we gotta do but i dont know of any top qbs that are tradeable.... so draft is what its looking like

He's still got a gun for an arm, but he's as immobile as they come.If we had an Ezekiel Elliot type RB then I'd consider it but we just need to get through this season and next season to get Tua in 2020.

He's better than our current QBs on this team. But I don't want to win anymore games than necessary to get Tua in 2020.

We already have one Blake, don't need a second

Blake doesn't get hurt like this guy does....besides he'd last about one quarter
behind our O-line.

This.  We’re not picking up his contract by putting in a waiver claim or at least we shouldn’t.  If he wants to come here as a free agent for a reasonable number because he thinks he has a shot to start, I’m fine with that.

Fred Taylor’s comments were awfully petty and uncalled for.  Fred’s better than that.

I think at this point everyone understands that you want Tua on the jags. Just put it in your sig and stop incessantly talking about it in every thread.

I'm pretty sure that guys that have been in the league as long as him don't go through waivers. He's a free agent right now and can sign anywhere if anyone actually wants him.

Yeah. I think any vet of more than 4 years in the league is exempt from the waiver process.

I see the rules regarding waived versus released, but pretty much every news outlet I’ve read regarding Bradford says he will be on waivers on Monday if any team wants to put in a claim for him. Interesting if true. I wonder why he qualifies for waivers considering he’s been in the league for more than 4 years.
