I'm not so sure about that. Khan has always said he'll let the football people make football decisions. He's publicly said he'd be willing to sign Kaepernick and he let the team bring in Greg Hardy a couple years ago to workout with the team and what he did was A LOT worse than what happened with Hunt.

You can't lump Kaepernick in with this. He's divisive, not violent. The Greg Hardy workout is definitely a 'hmmm' moment, but if there had been video evidence like Rice or Hunt, I'm sure he would not have been invited.

Because he wasnt that good.  If he wasnt good in college you think he will light it up in the pros?  Hunt is one of the best backs in the league.  Ware might have a good game here and there but he wont make no where near the impact Hunt does imo.  We shall see. Ware hasn't impressed me to much so far

That is not an excuse. He was an adult who knew right from wrong. At some point we have to stop making excuses for these guys. Everyone knew about Ray Rice and what happened to him. Regardless of whether Hunt knew he was on video, he was aware that you cannot put your hands on a woman. As an adult, he could've walked away. He didn't. He knew what he was doing was wrong and he did it anyway. I have no sympathy for him at all.

Destroy his life? Hardly. That guy made more money in two seasons than some of us will make in a lifetime. He can go to Canada and play, if no one in the NFL signs him. The AAF starts in 2019, I don't know what their domestic violence policies are. Maybe he could play there. He could probably make millions as a public speaker, denouncing domestic violence, if he truly has turned things around. His life is not ruined. Not even close.

I don't disagree with that, I just brought it up in that Khan doesn't step in and nix anything.

Reading their statement I got the impression that they knew... along with the league what was going on . But they weren't going to do anything about it until the video got out.

There is also the "innocent until proven guilty" angle. A video pretty much ends any debate on that.

Unfortunately some team will probably pick him up.  The guy is a punk and needs to grow up.  Some people use the "he's a 22 year old young man" line to defend his actions, but that's no excuse.  At 22 years old there are many in the military operating multi-million dollar machinery and working in the most dangerous environment in the world.  At 22 years old there are police officers on the street risking their lives.

I wouldn't be against the NFL having a zero tolerance policy for actions such as this.  The guy is supposed to be both a man and a professional.  He's failed at both.
