Good of the Chiefs for releasing him but they still have Tyreek Hill who did worse on their team.

Wow! If someone told me at the beginning of the week that Kansas City would release Hunt, I'd say they were crazy! What a difference a video can make. Had there not been video evidence, I believe he would still be a Chief. Once people can visualize what a guy did, it becomes a public nightmare. There are guys still in the NFL who have done way worse, but since there were no video evidence, they still have jobs. Anyway, I applaud the Chiefs for stepping up and doing what's right, despite the fact he was such an important part of their team and they were among the favorites to reach the Superbowl. You just can't get violent with women.

It looks like the Chiefs will be looking for a RB in the next draft.......... or will they go after Le'Veon Bell?

Reading their statement I got the impression that they knew... along with the league what was going on . But they weren't going to do anything about it until the video got out.

Considering how important he was to that offense, it doesn't surprise me.

So their stance seems to be, you can push and shove people around. And there can be video of it and you can stay on the team...Until the moment the public finds out about it then you're gone.

Definitely, he's an elite player and only 23 years old. If I'm an NFL team I claim him right now, sit him the rest of the year, and put him through some extensive programs during the offseason to make sure this type of incident never happens again. If he seems like he's really changed, you play next season.

If he hadn't lied to the Chiefs, they prob keep him, and deal with the ensuing treatments and suspensions.

Why not? Like Tuxedo mentions above, run him through the car wash a few times and see if you get contrition. I don’t see Khan signing off on him, though.

Don’t sleep on Ware.

He’s no Hunt but it’s like Conner in Pitt.

I'm not so sure about that. Khan has always said he'll let the football people make football decisions. He's publicly said he'd be willing to sign Kaepernick and he let the team bring in Greg Hardy a couple years ago to workout with the team and what he did was A LOT worse than what happened with Hunt.

Naw, Ware wasnt even that good even in college.  Conner was a beast in college and would of went in the first couple  rounds if it wasnt for the cancer. Not the same at all
