Time will tell with all these guys... but give me a guy with good accuracy and was a "winner" in college and a smart HC/OC.

Being taller, bigger, and having a stronger arm is better than not having those traits. That is not negated because some tall, big, strong-armed QBs have failed in the past. Gabbert shrinks under pressure. Bortles throws a ball liked a wounded duck. Those are limitations they were unable to consistently overcome. Almost every QB has limitations and the more you have the worse off you are. The question is can their other positive attributes allow them to overcome them.

Bigger guys are slower guys.
The NFL is evolving.... the QB no longer has to be the big pocket passer of days past. I think we'll see a lot more of the 6 ft even guys being successful in these offenses that move the pocket and get the ball out quick to WRs and RBs that get YAC.

Then again... maybe it's a fad that fades in a few seasons.

Will Grier has decided to not play in WVU's upcoming bowl. He does not want to jeopardize anything preventing him from being available for the Jaguars next season.

Yet he's been added to the Senior Bowl. I wonder if he's one of those guys that will go thru the process and then not play.

Senior Bowl is not like playing in a bowl game.
I live about 45 mins from Mobile and I've been to the Senior Bowl a couple times. It's hard to watch if you're looking at it like a football game. It's like a pro bowl esque combine scrimmage lol

It's a good time as a party with football stuff going on lol

Although I wouldn't blame him if he skipped the Senior Bowl.. he doesn't need it, imo.
I wish I had known he wasn't playing in his bowl game before I turned in my bowl pick sheet. D'oh! I don't know if WVU can win with whoever the back up is.

Watched a little bit of Grier today. I continue to be impressed. I'm mildly concerned about his stature, but I like the quick release, velocity and accuracy. None of it is off the charts great, but it looks good enough to graduate to the next level.
Still need to watch more of him though.

From what I saw of him at UF. He has the skill and the athleticism of a great passer. He has some running ability I suppose. I was high on him before he got booted from our team, but for some reason despite his talent he always managed to nearly throw a pick or throw a pick. I never saw him improve in that respect. If he's doing it in college, the huge talent gap from college to NFL would eat him alive. I just think he's going to get exploited. He might go the route of Rosen. I always saw him as a gunslinger type like Grossman. Grossman never learned to not turnover the ball. It wasn't a matter of 'if' with him, it was a matter of 'when'. I see the same with Grier.

He played 6 games at Florida 3 years agao lol. He is a much better QB. Have you watched him the last couple years? You a basing your prospect evaluation off of what you seen from him 3 years ago?
