Forget the penalties and fines, I'm worried about him getting concussions and not being available.

He isn't here to play Safety.Yeah I caught that. He does remind me of Jebrill Peppers though, for some reason. "Starter traits..." Now thats interesting. I’m guessing he was on their board in that position and that [BLEEP] was their 3rd round pick??? Maybe someone knows somebody somewhere that has an inside line on him and thought another team would take him? Or maybe they heard Belichick talked with him on the phone for 2 hrs... I believe Deionte Thompson or Hakeem Butler would of been of better value. The BR have been hating on Butler all draft long. No clue who their sources are, but they have said NFL not high on him. I remember a few analysts mentioning that the reason so many FA safeties got paid this year, is that scouts were not high on this safety class. Might be part of why most of them fell including Thompson. Peppers is definitely a flawed player, but getting a poor man's Peppers at the end of the 3rd/beginning 4th would be great value.
So apparently Oliver’s knack for getting open is pretty good... which is saying something for a guy who is 6’5. They used him all over the place too which is really good to see. They even had him as a wing back on a couple plays from the vids I’ve just watched. Here’s an ok quality vid with a really annoying song “imo”, but shows some pretty damn good upside. As far as catching the ball his hands look like a My Pillow commercial.

We need a RG, FS, RB and WR We did need an LB. After Jack and Telvin, there was no one who really stepped up to be reliable at the position all last year. And their health over the past 2 seasons have been incredibly lucky for the position looking at LB injuries league wide. I know they signed Ryan from GBP, but they need more reliable depth at the position. If they really feel he can fill that role, than that is great. They may even view him as Telvin's replacement in 2020 if Telvin has another poor year. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! "Caldwell called Oliver a productive tight end with the ability to catch and be an efficient blocker. He also visited the Jaguars in the pre-draft process." https://www.jaguars.com/news/wrapping-da...-the-boxes Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

I was thinking more like Derek Cox. In the 2009 draft, we traded a 2010 2nd round pick for a 2009 3rd round pick, and picked a guy who was not listed in the top 100 CBs anywhere. He was okay. He was named to a couple of all-rookie teams. He had 4 interceptions for us in the 2012 season. But at the time he was drafted, none of the on-air pundits had any information on him whatsoever! It was pretty embarrassing at the time.
Wish we would’ve went with Grier. Can’t go into this season with Kessler as our backup.

I figure, if selecting from top end SEC talent is your thing, and as a GM (VP) you step outside of that and go for a small school prospect at the end of the 3rd? When everyone's job is teetering on the line? The guy has got to have something they really like. These evaluaters do this for a living. I gotta trust that they know better than me.
You Gotta Be Able To Run Da' Rock~
