Wow, nice to see American citizens taking matters into their own hands instead of waiting for the flunky congress to fix the problem.

How long is the wall that they built?  The article doesn't mention the length.

From what I was able to find out, it's about a 1/2 mile long wall on private property

Lol ... of the ~2,000 mile border,  approximately 1,350 miles are open.  Oops BREAKING NEWS UPDATE:  Only 1,349.5 remains open.

Can't wait for the next great idea ... perhaps a Go Fund Me Page to offset the $22 trillion in US Debt.

Tell that to the property appraiser when they see a satellite picture of a structure on your property that was built without pulling any permits.

Henry George said we should only tax the unimproved value of the land.
Taxing the improvements would just encourage crazy exemptions, inspections, and actually discourage improvement in the first place.
Nobody listened to him, though.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

I think it's great, but half a mile isn't going to do much.

I don't want to live in a world where I can't build a fence on my own property.
