Foster being hurt most of the year is what hurt them. He is one of the best players in yhe league and they are a run first team. He is what makes the wheels turn in that offense!

It's what the NFL wants.  They don't want Jacksonville to succeed.  That's why they suspended Blackmon. So that Jacksonville would have to trade him away.  I'd hope we'd at least get two firsts if we traded Blackmon.  But I won't be surprised if this happens.

I don't know if I would be shocked, but I would be very surprised.....if Blackmon was in a Jaguar jersey next year.  That's why I think we take a WR in the first 3 rounds where the position is very deep before a drop off.  Blackmon has worn out his welcome here.  What else is Caldwell going to say?  He has to be politically correct in the media.  I don't think we can invest any more time or hope on Blackmon with all the strikes he has against him.  He's a great talent, but I think they look elsewhere if possible.

I'm not sure we can get that much for him.  He's on his last leg with the league's abuse program and has never had a good start to finish season in his two years.  Brandon Marshall was in the league longer, was WAY more productive, and wasn't one mistake away from being suspended for a long time, and he garnered a 3rd round pick and a future 3rd round pick.  I'm thinking we'd get a conditional pick in next year's draft.  If he turns it around and stays on the field, we get a 3rd round pick, if not then we get a 4th round pick.  Something similar to that.

That's the most realistic scenario.  But if Caldwell is offered a second rounder (not likely), I have a very hard time he'd turn down the offer.

Caldwell would take that in a sec but no GM is stupid enough to offer that when one more mistake and he will most likely be out of the league

I think Schuab is still a decent to pretty good QB.They need to reup at WR and TE. Hopkins needs to improve. Andre and Daniels are old.

 

I could easily see them wanting to bring back Shaub for a couple more years.  I feel he's got it left.  I think folks have overblown the sideline drama.  They don't have to bring in an immediate starter in that scenario.
